The reason why I said that Starship might have rigged the contest was because, out of all nominees, even though Sistar has been pretty active lately, I feel like they were second to last when talking about popularity/performances/etc. Starship Ent. was also in a 'scandal' a few months ago about how they would buy a mass amount of online Sistar songs and then ask a refund or something after the list were made, but the purchase still counted toward the ranking of the rankings, which caused Sistar to always end up high on the ranking list. Maybe they schemed something similar to get Sistar that win versus a well established group like Kara who, even though they haven't been as active as Sistar, are considered to have a larger fanbase or the likes of T-ara, who, even after the Hwayoung bully scandal are still pretty popular. It just seems so unlikely. I'm not saying that they don't deserve it though. ooooor "Alone" and " Loving You" were actually really good and popular songs compared to "Pandora" and the shit t-ara released ( they won't win anything for a while anyway because of the bullying scandal) Also I think you already forgot the whole point of MAMA that attending=1 award, since Kara won Best Global GirlGroup, Sistar had to get the other one.

well people shouldnt take such award shows without a truck of salt but i agree that sistar 2012 content was really really good (at least i liked it so much that their songs are one of my most played tracks T_T)
but 2012 was pretty good overall, i liked a lot of the rookies

as much as I dislike sistar's way of promoting their songs and my overall distaste for its members, they've done pretty well this year.
