![]() The creepy line A Korean Music Discussion guide on how to find out where to draw it (or if you've crossed it). Often times during my internet travels to spread the good word of Jung and recruit Kamilias, I've been told I was creepy, deranged, psychotic, worry-some, etc. But the one characteristic that came up most was "creepy". creep·y/ˈkrēpē/ Adjective: Causing fear or unease: "creepy feelings in a strange house". Synonyms: gruesome - reptile - creeping Apparently my love for this foreign beauty puts people uneasy when they first find out about it. I've never really bothered about that in the past, I embraced the adjective and pursued my crusade. Recently however, I've experienced feelings, physical feelings associated with this unrequited love. You see, I was playing a gta style game based in a fictitious Hong Kong called Sleeping Dogs. At some point in the game, the player gets involved with the big money makers of the Chinese triad, the player meets Sony, a guy who owns an entertainment company and muscles movie directors into accepting his actors and actresses into their movies. He's an agent of some sort. Deals in Music, movies, and porn. At one point Sony explains to the character how the industry works, how he gets to use the girls wanting to become stars for sex, how he makes them sleep with producers for jobs and whatnot. When Sony was explaining that, I thought of Nicole and I got physically sick. I started feeling unwell, got a little dizzy, felt angered, blood was boiling up inside. I wanted to quit the game and stop playing right there. Actually I wanted to do more, I wanted to smash the fucking monitor and tell that fictitious video game character to shut the fuck up. A couple of minutes later when I had time to cool down, I realized that what had just happened was rather creepy. All of the unease I felt. For a stranger... It can be weird if you look at it from that angle. But then again I ask myself ? Is it abnormal to worry about someone you love ? No matter how close or not you are to them, if you love them, you'll worry for them and wish for their best right ? So was that normal and acceptable ? I don't know... But as of now I do consider what happened kind of creepy. That one time where I down right hallucinated her walking by my side and almost extended my hand as to grab her's while I was walking by myself on campus was also kind of... weird. This bring us to where should the line be drawn ? Should one start to re-consider this whole K-Pop affair or maybe their life completely) upon falling in love with an idol one has never met ? Nah, I don't think so, we all have needs, be it emotional, sexual, or what have you and I think it's ok to try and fill these needs that way. It's harmless, if you keep it to yourself, no one will find out. It's no big deal and should fade out eventually. How about when one goes public with the admiration ? Nah... Could just be a dedicated fan right ? What if it's when one starts hanging up posters and buying a lot of merchandise ? Maybe in there lies a sign ? I don't know for sure. What I think is that when you're fantasy love starts to interfere with your everyday life and feelings should be where the line is drawn. That's when things start to become dangerous. Not finding "normal" girls attractive anymore ? Comparing them to your bias ? If you day-dream of your idol during school, talk to her in one-way conversations on Twitter and wonder how she feels or what she's doing everyday, you may need to take a step back and look at what you're doing. Consider this a warning for new fans. In KPop lies danger, not for everyone, but I would recommend lonely people and people with relationship/feelings issues and/or addictive behavior to be careful of how far they let it go. --------- KARA announced the release of the solo collection album in Korea! The regular and limited edition of the solo collection album will be available in stores on December 4th. (Already up for pre-orders on dvdheaven, Gmarket and some eBay stores.) The Limited Edition will feature a DVD with all of the solos MVs on it. According to DSP Media, the solo tracks of the KARA members will be released on November 28th and 30th, along with their respective music videos. ![]()

I've always taken the stance that "creepy" is just a perception. So if you keep the stuff to yourself, technically you're not "creepy". Though your relationship with Nicole (I use the word "relationship" for the lack of a better word or phrase) is seemingly creepy, it is only because we've been revealed the extent of your devotion (again, I use the word 'devotion' for the lack of a better term). I'm sure there are definitely people who've taken their fandom to levels even beyond yourself, but have been able to hide it from public view. So in terms of practical usage of the word "creepy", the only difference between you and a "normal" person, is that the public knows of your fandom. (That's why I roll up my windows when Miss A's I Don't Need a Man, comes up on my playlist)

Nice write TuElite, I am not sure how fast and how many of us (Kpop fans, not only in here) need to draw the line but I've always had an open mind when it comes to these fantasy gfs or loves. 1 out of how many are on your caliber, that's my real question.

I would say there's two different things. When is something creepy? and when is your obsession not healthy anymore? Being creepy: Personally I think you're fine as long as your love for your bias is seperated from your irl feelings of love and desire etc. Your love for your bias should be about supporting them, and appreciating (being a source of enjoyement, inspiration and motivation) the content they provide. I don't have a problem with this, but I do think this is where things start getting creepy. And personally it's not somewhere I have an interest in going. This where I would draw the line in terms of being creepy. And this is where your obsession isn't healthy anymore. Moderation is important in both cases (being a dedicated fan // having actual feelings for your bias) as well though. Kpop (and everything that comes with it) should be a positive addition to your life, not something that controls it.

Good song and MV imo. On November 27 2012 23:53 Jarzai wrote: Hello all, It has been a long two weeks, I think I learned my lesson hehe, But now I must ask an urgent question. How many pictures can i stuff in one post? I've heard it's 100 but I need to be sure here. I'm not taking any chances. And if you haven't listened SNSD's new album stop being an idiot and do it. It's pretty cool, but alas I am a Sone and a fanboy, so you might have a different opinion on it... 101 is the limit. I should probably get started since I did promise 10k pics...

Gonna try it out later. | ||
