Hello Venus was alright, both songs they promoted were good, but the mini album was w.e Crayon Pop pretty damn good, Bing Bing and Saturday Night were excellent. I only liked Vista out of the Fiestar release. But I dunno how much companies power has influence on who get rookie awards. | ||

Out of those three, I think Hello Venus is the biggest contender, Crayon Pop isn't spreading as big, and Fiestar only has the one song to go off of, don't know how big they'll go in the next couple months. Looking up other groups, AoA was cool (though I'm not a fan of the band/performance split style), Gangkiz was pretty good, She'z had a few fans on here. | ||

AoA was interesting, but overall fairly forgettable, it's nice that they tried something new, but it just didn't work out that well. Crayon Pop doing a lot of stuff in Japan currently, will probably hurt their chances at getting it. | ||

All this discussion is making me realise that this year is terrible in terms of debuts so far. Like this is nowhere near as terrible as anything off the gd mini. Considering crayon pop is ridiculous considering they couldn't even get appearances on music shows every week. | ||
