She had zero makeup on, which definitely doesn't help when a huge flash is on your face. US paparazzi suck at taking decent pictures, or rather, they are amazing at taking unfortunate pictures. I still like her smile though. For such a crappy situation it was she at least tried to be cheerful. She even waved at one of the paparazzi guys who crowded her taxi after she got in (I think she thought he was a fan...) Thanks for clearing that up Moon. I just assumed it was after the flight since she looked fine in the fan cam of them leaving New York.

Because the Japanese market for kpop is a lot smaller than the Korean media would have you think. If larger girl groups like anyone apart from KARA and to a lesser extent 2ne1 and SNSD have problems breaking into the japanese market, how well do you think no name groups will do?

Huh, I think he implicitly agrees with you in the first place. He's asking why a rookie group would try to go for Japan instead of focusing on Korea I think.

Oh I misread that. Read it as the opposite. Oh well. The rationale for it (that I don't really agree with) is that Japan has big money, and so if you get popularity there there's a larger payoff. Especially for smaller groups like CP that seem to have problems getting TV spots in Korea anyway it may make sense. It's a bigger risk/reward but I just think that the chances of reward are so small that it's not worth it. @Unichan's post- hand blender dance #1, Sui is a qt.
