Have I also mentioned how much I like the Day by Day album photobook? Minus the pictures of Dani from the MV. + Show Spoiler +Not to mention it would turn TL into an ugly clusterfuck with pics everywhere à la anime forum syndrome. Putting them in your profile is enough and I like it that way ^^ @Tennet: I actually never really cared for any of SISTAR's voices except for Hyorin's haha. I listen to their songs mostly just for their catchiness. One of Hyorin's songs was one of my introductions to kpop though. + Show Spoiler +On August 12 2012 11:41 DystopiaX wrote:Show nested quote +On August 12 2012 11:17 Moonwrath wrote:Music Core is the best show ever + Show Spoiler +On August 12 2012 10:56 DystopiaX wrote:
I think Taeyeon is good but I will agree she's overrated, mostly cause the large SNSD fanbase hypes her up so much. Yeah along with the rest of the music industry professionals. The fanbase tends to exagerrate more than the professionals do. I can agree that she's a great singer but I've heard comments like she's the best singer in kpop, just as good as Beyonce/Adele, etc. If I had a dime for every time I read a youtube comment saying that... keke. That's good enough for me, I love Hyorin's cover of My Name. I have been noticing Soyu and Dasom's voices lately and I really appreciate that each member of SISTAR can carry themselves even though Hyorin is amazing enough to do it herself. It adds more worth and that is sort of one of the reasons I started to like SISTAR over my original SNSD bias due to them getting me into kpop. True that. haha kpop mini life story eh? Recently Loving U was ridiculously good, and as others were saying iirc the MV/song really helped me gain some appreciation for the other members.

That is exactly what happened to me, Loving U came out (note: I already was aware they could sing due to a friend pointing that out to me) and I realized that each part they had in the song added something and was much more enjoyable. Now Loving U is fought by Gangnam Style for attention.

I would rank Sistar as one of the best groups vocally, which is funny because their main draw seems to be their bodies. After hearing 2ne1's accoustic set with that young guitarist guy, I would put them top vocally amongst the strictly idol groups. (beg not included)

I really don't like the MV for Loving U, but the performances are good.
Lead Me is their best song to date.

dat Music Core Soyu, nice dress

I'm 6 foot so the chance of me coming across a kpop girl taller than me is quite slim. I can only remember meeting one girl taller than me in my life, and that's been in England and Germany for the most part.
Does Nine Muses have a 6 footer? I know they are the tallest girl group atleast.

Man screw that song, ever since someone here said something about hearing her singing "Nevin" thats all I ever heard. Also I didn't like how she looked, thought she was much better looking pre-debut.

Lead Me is their best song to date. Craton isn't an archon anymore :O
I am not sure which I like more Lead Me or Loving U, Lead Me was my favorite but lately Loving U has grown on me.

How the shit can you tell what those icons are? I'm zerg for life, but have no idea what mine is. A retarded hydra?
There is no chance in hell a member of nine muses is 6 foot without me knowing about it. My Kpop twin is in there + Show Spoiler [Eunji : yay!] + I think the tallest is 174, near on 4 inches off course.

Lead Me is their best song to date. Congrats on the arbiter! You've been an archon for quite a while, it feels like.
I dunno, I thought the MV was alright even if there wasn't too much meaning or anything. My least favorite MV of all time (disregarding flat-out bad MVs) is probably Sunny Hills' Pray. Didn't like a thing about it even though it was supposed to be art and well-made and everything (which it was I suppose) :/

I've played enough Brood War to know what each unit looks like, he is an Arbiter now.

I thought the Pray music video was great, very powerful. Sunny Hill is one of the few kpop groups that seems to take risks like that and I respect them for it.

I was watching the acoustic version of Lonely last night and I realized the same thing. Dara has a really good voice, very distinguishable and Bom is pretty good too, I didn't really pay attention to CL or Minzy cause they're not as cute.

Compared to other kpop MVs with epic story lines and such like Day by Day, Loving U is really simple but it's definitely one of my favorites. The roller skates, the beach, sailor costumes, SISTAR BODY ROLLS? The end of the song with the "L O, L O V E" around the campfire kills me every time and is easily my favorite MV moment of all time. Somebody wouldn't happen to have a gif of that wave would they?
And yes I'm trying to stop posting one line comments....

It's pretty cool that they decided to go with their own idea and vision at the risk of the video being rejected from shows and whatnot. I just personally dislike it despite the messages it carries.

Loving U's MV really makes the song better, I think. Dunno what part does so (lol)
And I just watched the acoustic Lonely, i agree. I love dara, wish she did more cutesy sexy stuff and less punk
edit: and yeah i didnt like sunny hill's last comeback but its their music and no one else makes it like that

That's one of the main reasons I don't like 2NE1, they're just very brash and in your face. But the past few days with the acoustic videos and a few other songs I'm starting too like them more. I thought I Love You was good even though it does seem really Westernized and similar to music I could hear on the radio but at least it wasn't all rap and they weren't wearing hoodies and bandanas in the music video. I just hope they'll keep it up with their new song.

Remove awkward white kid with the braces, and the Loving U video becomes 10 times better.
|
I have only their 2nd mini album, the one with I'm the best, lonely and hate you etc. Pretty good mini album tbh. They may not be much to look at, but wtf does that matter when it's in your mp3 player?
|
When I first started to get into kpop I liked 2ne1 a lot, I think somewhere after Hate You I started to like them a little less. Oddly I just don't really care for their music except 7 or so songs now. I Love You was okay, but it wasn't the 2ne1 I liked. I don't really know what it is that lowered my interest.. Maybe an increase of interest in other groups or because they are less like they were in I Am the Best or Can't Nobody to me anymore.
On the topic of Sunny Hill, one thing I really like about them is the meaning and messages they put in their songs and music videos. I really like the meaning of The White Horse is Coming. The general message of there are people who love you and those that try to judge you based on "standards" are worthless and have no right to diss you is pretty straight up awesome and true. I probably didn't cover everything but I just wanted to cover the general gist of the MV and what I liked. + Show Spoiler [English Subs] +

Hahaha i say yes to that.. Even though the MV is filled with so much good that it doesn't even matter that much. It's sorta funny but makes you jealous. T_T

My personal theory is that Sistar focuses on sexy body music rather than slower music/ballads cause if they did less intense choreo the cameras would spend more time on their faces.

Anyone know the song just played during Proleague? I've heard it on Marineking's stream before too. The only thing I can try to say of the song is
"Napeuno" I think is said.
I tried to google "낲은오" But I cant find anything Napeun Napeun day napeuno? or osmething. Sorry this description is terribad.
