Not now my friend, not now... So many gifs and caps, I'm floating right now man, this cannot be real life, I must have succeeded my lucid dreams attempt and got stuck in there or something. Unbelievable. And I still didn't even made my wallpapers out of it... I'm just overwhelmed by it all.

I'd understand if it was a more generic poppy song that happened to be in Korean, but even then understanding lyrics is a big part of music for most people. happy (TL) birfday fawkes! You guys missed the point. They may have overreacted but they had a right to be upset in the first place. The song was actually liked by a majority of the listeners. As of now, the song has a massive lead on the other songs on the program, which was listed as a new music review. BBC radio poll results The DJ's are to blame here with ignorant comments like "if you're a foreign band, try to make sure everyone can pronounce your name (laughs)" -the female dj How hard is it to pronounce 2-N-E-1??!!

I was always debating in my mind, Two Any One or Twenty(without the t) One. Don't ask me why. It's actually "To Anyone" instead of "Two Any One." "To Anyone" or "Twenty-One" are correct pronunciations, I believe. In a couple of their songs, CL says it in these two different ways. :p

"Twenty-one" should be right, but it's probably already been butchered enough that no one cares.

(i could be wrong but) they've probably never heard K-Pop before, and it can be a bit startling at first. if you don't recognize something and all of the sudden it's boom right there in front of you, most people's natural reaction is going to be to laugh and rib it a little. especially if you're hearing that this is the new popular stuff and when you hear it it is radically different in some way than what you know and are used to. tbh, the first time i ever heard a k-pop song, i spent like twenty minutes laughing my ass off because i thought it was ridiculous. i mean, i like it, and i think it's cool and all, but it was in some ways exactly what i would think Korean pop music would sound like, and at the same time it was so wildly different from anything else i had ever seen or heard before that i couldn't help but bust up laughing. (i stumbled on a video of Gee while perusing and making fun of the top 100 music on youtube with my brother) if i was a DJ and i heard it, i don't know if i would be able to not express a little bit of confusion. but if the listeners really do like it than they'll keep asking for it, and the DJ's will become more knowledgeable about it and less incredulous. if the listeners don't like it... well then i guess it's their loss. i can see big fans of it who are pumped to hear it on the radio being annoyed at the attitude, but then again, i can also think they should take a second to think about it before they start up with the "omg how dare they!" reactions.

First it's biased because only people really interested are gonna vote, and second because blackjacks prolly heard of this issue and then spammed the polls. Doesn't mean most BBC listeners liked it.

Only it wan't Youtube's top 100 or Gee, but Mister and some BW tournament instead. At first we laughed our arses off, but then.. yea, you all know the rest.
