I'm just starting to enjoy a bit of K-Pop, is there a reason for the SNSD hate I see, or is it one of those hate what's popular because it's popular?
I will never forget my first actual discussion of kpop with other people. At that time I was someone new to kpop and when SNSD was mentioned in the discussion, it wasnt a discussion about the music but rather how hot the members are. I felt pretty disgusted at the time, and ever since then i noticed that snsd fans never really talk about snsd songs but rather how hot a member is.

Uh, welcome to kpop fandoms?
Name a good SNSD song post-Genie/Gee.
That's dangerous territory because of how subjective music can be and because of the numerous factors that go into making something "good" or bad".

interesting idea. it would be too easy to just include a bunch of my favorite artists so i'm going to factor in the performance aspect of it too. i listen to a bunch of ballad singers so i had to eliminate a ton of them. i'm going to include some defunct groups in mine (maybe it's a sign i'm getting old...)

That's a dumb game to play, because it's entirely subjective on your tastes. I actually rather enjoyed Mistake (and Hoot off the same album, though that's pretty well known), I thought it was an interesting style to see a bit of a slower song and how they pulled it off, which was better than I thought they would.
But of course, since this is all opinion based, you're free to tell me I'm wrong because our opinions differ and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Speaking of performances, was there anyone here that ended up going to any of the Beast shows on their tour? I remember someone talking about it once but I don't think I ever saw a post-show report. They were awesome at the Google concert, seeing Fiction live was one of those must see songs for me.

Could name you 10 non title track songs but it still won't change your view so here's something else

I am ambivalent about SNSD; I don't particularly hate or like them. They're not that polarizing even though they're super popular (edit: okay they actually partially are because of that, but point is that I don't care too much either way). But you may be right about not being able to change my views...are you sure I was the intended target of that statement? :<
For what is worth Love Sick is a good song imo, I like it, but does a sub-unit song actually count as the actual groups song? As for the rest of their stuff, it's mostly not my thing with some exceptions. It just gets old as most of the pop music I hear.
probably the closest thing I have to that bias shit
Miss A Ailee Seeya Nell YB Busker Busker Ulala Session Lee Hyuk(Norazo) JYP K.will Hong Kyung Min DBSK Ali Lucia 4men Dynamic Duo LeeSsang Brown Eyed Soul Brown Eyed Girls(Vol 1 and 2 stuff only)
I probably would keep going to no end so I'll leave it at that
About Kpoph i have no idea if there is going to be a second channel but Asiandream channels+ Show Spoiler +

Would like to say that I think IU should be in that list there as well; otherwise I don't have too much knowledge in general so I would be content to listen to some of the artist lists you guys put together
