Sure watching those acapella videos are quite a decent guideline but everyone has bad days. Considering how much they sing and exhausted they are during promotions most of them probably can sing better and I really wished they would use the mics directly for audio instead of that video camera.
^I dunno how you can use the "sings too much" excuse with kidols, since most of their time is probably spent endorsing shit, not actually singing. Like most western artists probably have to sing much more when they're on tour, and those artists who can sing keep it fairly consistent.
edit- you could say that they're physically worn out and no one would argue with you. idk how that affects voice though cause I don't know anyone who's been in that position.
Also Minah is underrated as a vocalist, probably cause Girls' Day, and probably cause her aegyo gets far more attention.
hmm Tippany cover not bad, plenty of others could do better though. (although perhaps with engrish). She's in tune, but I wouldn't say there's anything particularly remarkable about her voice.
Also apparently most kidols who you think can't sing can sing fine, just not when dancing.
Yeah minah has a really great voice its just that they don't show it off in their recent songs but in Nothing Last forever she had some pretty amazing parts.
^short hair has to be my least favorite part...at least the only one who did it permanent is Hwayoung (although Hyomin's newish haircut looks terrible, even if it's not beiber hair). And it'll only last a month cause then they'll do lovey dovey after that, which, seeing as CCM called it radically different from Cry Cry, is probably something cute again, and so long hair.

Her feature with Defconn sounded pretty good too, even if she didn't have to do anything amazing. Really wish Girl's Day would do something more ballad like instead of churning out basically the same aegyo-filled song over and over with a different cute dance each time.
Also cause Yura would look hot with a sexy/formal concept.

Would be quite interesting if they went back to something similar like Nothing Lasts Forever again. But that's not their best song in my opinion. But I seriously doubt they have the vocal capacity for a ballad, it would be so Minah-focused it would just be better that she did a solo like Ji Eun.
Just gonna include Don't Let Your Eyes Wander because it's probably one of the best kpop songs this years and largely went unnoticed because they never promoted it instead they started to prepare for Japan. There's nothing wrong with cute as long as they don't get overly cute.
Oh, and CCM should fire whoever did Hwayoung's hair because it's really bad. i'm kind of sad that short hair seems to be the new big trend in Kpop..

Sojin has a good voice too, just pales a lot in comparison to Minah's. Wouldn't be terrible I don't think.
Off topic a little: any recommendations for a book/website/e-book for learning korean (just like their alphabet and some phrases)? Going to korea in 10 days, so best know some basic phrases before me and my mates get utterly lost

They did do a ballad for some show/movie a while ago, it's only Minah and Sojin actually singing in it as expected.
