(I'm quite aware that my Chinese grammar is quite terrible). It's not a mixup between the two characters as more of I should have said Bigger. Like there's big and then bigger. However, High also works. Considering Taeyeon's name spelling in traditional Chinese, as all Koreans can spell their names in Chinese, she uses the character 泰, which just happens to be one of the characters that I use in my Korean name (I digress). Although in places like Thailand or Hong Kong they use the 太 character. So her name in Korean is 김태연 which in Chinese would look like 金泰姸 and of course pronounced Kim Taeyeon. Here the meanings for 金 (Can be translated to "gold" but also has a meaning of "last name") 泰 (Big/Bigger/To be big) 姸 (To be beautiful/pretty) So her name can have the meaning of "large beauty" or being "very beautiful". (Parents did a good job in naming her) In this way most all Korean names that have traditional Chinese characters can have a hidden meaning. I say most because there are some recent names that literally use Korean words as names or foreign names in Korean spelling. Once again I'm rambling for the sake of being bored and procrastinating on studies..... | ||

JOO teaser, she's such a QT. Fairly lighthearted song, sort of disappointed. Though I guess you can't tease a few pictures of Joo and a pretty boy, Leeteuk according to Kipsate, playing with cupcakes and eating ice cream just to come out with another of Joo's bread and butter, heartfelt ballads. | ||
