EDIT: DSP shoots down boycotting rumors. SS501 wasn't in the running anyways since they came back too late. But Kara's appearance is still up in the air. | ||

You would think that with a title like Chu~<3 (notice the heart) it would be a cuter song, but I guess that logic doesn't apply here. At least is isn't riddled completely with autotune like some "other" artists. I can respect them for that. | ||

Maslo (pronounced meh-sul-lo) is famous to those in touch with the Korean underground hip hop scene. Maslo teamed up with another underground artist from Soul Connection named "JEPP" to release an album called "BLACKOUT." If the album cover didn't do it, their song which is identical to GD's "Heartbreaker" will certainly create a buzz amongst VIP's and netizens alike. The "BLACKOUT" album was digitally released today and they will perform this song for the first time at an underground showcase at November 11th. Many netizens feel that Maslo is doing this for "noise marketing," to become popular in the mainstream. However, Maslo's fans have stated that "Maslo is already known in the underground realm and doesn't even want to go mainstream." Other netizens also voiced their opinions saying that people can just view this as an "anti-GD track" and should just be dismissed. Another netizen is speculating that if Maslo was asked if he plagiarized "Heartbreaker," Maslo will respond with "no... I just sampled Flo Rida's 'Right Round.'" It is uncertain if YG will seek legal actions however, there have been buzz that they will which might even bring more light into this situation. As for the song teaser itself... we would like to rate it C for crap. I'm pretty disappointed. I was hoping for some kind of evolution in their music, but it doesn't feel as though they've improved upon 'I hate You.' and 'Again and Again.' I'm just waiting for the live performances because I think that 2pm really only shine when they're on stage. I just hope they can somehow compensate for the empty space Jae's left. Also this song is quite generic, but it's not auto-tuned to death. I like it mainly for the cute styling of the girls and the fairytale-esque apple motif. It's a pretty adorable MV; | ||
