We get it, it's 'been done'. Every piece of media has been inspired and derived from another piece of media. Now quit complaining about it and go see what will probably be one of the best movies this year, and very easily the most technologically advanced movie ever.

Think Titanic. Very predictable. Many memorable scenes.

That's a very fair point, nobody I know has even heard of it, while for example the movie batman returns everyone was anticipating much more.

In terms of awareness, Avatar is a new movie with no prior book so of course its going be less known. In terms of "quality", Avatar is probably the most hyped in a long time or maybe...since SW or TDK
