http://movies.ign.com/articles/105/1054378p1.html My apprehension about Avatar dissipated after the first 10 minutes, by which point I knew that I was in great hands. Cameron displays such confidence here that you'd never know it's been almost 13 years since he's released a feature film. He has done a Toklien-esque job of creating the world of Pandora, exploring its ecology and zoology and offering an almost anthropological study of the Na'vi. Here is one less than flatery one http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gBGxK44ffG4mfiqxaiUebj3P9zQgD9CH7E300 James Cameron's 3-D "Avatar" has all the smack of a Film Not To Miss — a movie whose effects are clearly revolutionary, a spectacle that millions will find adventure in. But it nevertheless feels unsatisfying and somehow lacks the pulse of a truly alive film. If you find more reviews post them with a excerpt. Maybe OP can add them. | ||
