Get on Chinese level, crank out in a couple hr. Most of the time I can find Chinese sub much faster than I can find raw.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is such a funny show. I am so sad there are only a few episodes left to go. Just watched this great scene. + Show Spoiler +

I think they have the advantage being next to Japan and sharing a similar language to an extent.
Also, they likely have more people working for the sub groups. We people in western countries can't compete.

Finished reading Jiraishin. Pretty good. Hard-boiled as fuck. Some seriously nice art too.

Ya, not aware of this conversation, totally happened on IRC, totally not right on the same page where you and Slaughter were talking about it: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/entertainment/94273-anime-discussion?page=3662#73229

You piqued my interest, I just read the first chapter, I'm hooked.

It pretty much follows all the stereotypes associated with hard-boiled detective stories, but that's why I liked it in the first place haha.

She was pretty dumb, yeah. I thought the ending was pretty nice though.

Tonari S2 will be like the second coming of Christ.
I spoiled myself with a couple chapters of the Manga. Kinda wish I didn't do it...

Itazura na Kiss: + Show Spoiler +please get away from him! lol. I always feel bad for characters that still continue talking to someone who keeps on treating them harshly. It's like, yes, I understand that you still love him but remember that you said x and y so why not show him that you don't need to interact with him etc... Still, funny that it all starts due to her house coming down due termites and a level 2 earthquake lol.

You realize it was you and Slaughter who talked about the two shows (Slaughter was just clarifying it seems). I didn't even bother commenting on your post even though I was watching "fake" Dragonar at the time and it was relevant. Considering my posting, it's quite possible I just glanced over your comment quickly and didn't find it important enough to commit to memory. Either way, this is pretty silly. A for the effort of digging that up though lol.

Hokay so I realized without school I have a ton of free time on my hands, so i decided to grind out a bunch of anime, starting with this season picking the ones that seem even remotely interesting to me and just marathon as much as i can...so today, I watched all of Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou since it's the first on this list that id like...
Story wasn't so great, it was maybe okay, it was enough to keep me slightly interested to finish but the
characters were where this show really shined to me. They all had unique differences that sort of blended together to make it kind of funny. It's just an overall goofy anime, with like a hint of romance. The romance was supposed to be the focus i guess but it moves at a pace that makes it seem like the lesser part.
Artwork was pretty decent, i liked the color scheme's, they felt different than most of the shows i've seen.
I'm pretty damn lenient with my scoring so i give it like 6-7 out of 10. I'd recommend if you're looking for just some mindless laughs
Next up is Akuma no Riddle, which im a few episodes in and enjoying already. They've done a good job of revealing just enough to pique my interest without telling me anything, and making me keep going back for more. Action scenes have been pretty exciting so far. There's been a little bit of fan service (which is ok i guess...not really into that but it's not like distracting or anything). Also something i found pretty cool was the endings have had a theme based on a different character (so far like the one that's in the episode the most beside the MC)

I didn't expect how it'll turn out but I ended up enjoying it. I'm sure you will as well. Each of the assassins have their own personalities, dreams, methods, etc... which is pretty nice. Let me know whose is your favourite and what you think of the anime after you're done

Akuma's ending reached almost the same level as bullshit as Arpeggio did. Almost. It did turn an already average show into a pretty shit one, so there's that. I guess.
