Here's what I thought:
On June 22 2014 06:03 BigFan wrote:Akuma: + Show Spoiler +would've preferred they kept those who died as dead since we've gotten over the emotional aspect already though I can also understand why they didn't do so. Haru has titanium? you don't say lol. I guess it was the best way to make Tokaku have her free will and Haru survive as well. Too bad though, it could've went down as a strong ending if Haru died and the other ones that have 'died' in previous episodes actually died lol. Bokura: good ending. Sets it up for a season 2 since they only got so far.

Ahhh im too tempted to read that spoiler lolol.
Bokura's ending i was a little upset with + Show Spoiler + After all that time and effort Usa still got basically nowhere with Ritsu...still smack dab in the middle of the friend zone, i was kind of disappointed, but I'll agree it does set up nicely for a season 2
Just finished episode 6 of Akuma + Show Spoiler +I freaking loooooooooooved the play on romeo and juliet between kirigaya and chitaru. it's interesting that they have the personalities to mirror their parts (chitaru being princely and kirigaya being like a lost little princess). As an English major i've always been a big fan of Shakespeare and they did a brilliant job incorporating it into this story through these 2 characters and then having them actually play the parts in the play.
anyways i'm stopping for the night, with much much more marathon to come tomorrow

Kawaisou was better than anything else I started this season, and it's the only thing I watched the moment I downloaded it every week. The plot is as drab as it seems and as is expected but the comedy and a few characters make it worthwhile.
I also watched and read Hoshi no Koe earlier, and I can't believe something so awful and messy in the OVA (in so many ways) could be adapted into something so relatively solid in the manga; the manga was pretty good. I'm glad I bothered myself with that first over the OVA or I doubt I would have given it the time of day.

man, reading the tonari manga on mangahere is great. the tsukkomis really add to the reading experience. whoever came up with the idea is a genius.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is pretty cool .. i could remember smiling alot of times while watching the manga and definitely + Show Spoiler + one of the few manga along with Good Ending where the characters actually get together and it goes somewhere and not just tease
eh ? but idk about this season 2 hype .. + Show Spoiler +the manga was not really that impressive the 2nd half of the show

In light of the recent talk of Tonari Kaibutsu, I decided to re-watch some eps tonight.
Mizutani's face in ep 12 is so good: + Show Spoiler +

that show was okay at most. I don't understand why everyone loved it so much

Tonari had a lot of subtle quality moments. That's why I like it so much.

What's so great about ping pong and mushishi S2? All ping pong has is character development All mushishi zoku shou has is people getting tormented by mushi and storytelling
I'm finding them to be quite lackluster in every other category possible.

I get you man. But on ther other hand, if more shows would be like Mahouka or NGNL, legit masterpieces, I wouldn't have time to get anything else done
