Kakusei is awakening it let's you move twice. One of the other expensive ones is tamashi-Soul. But Tamashi is one of the more OP senshi

It's only use when in the other SRW games you need to position your Evas for example for a Positron Rifle MAP. Or Zeorymer for a MAP Meioh
On the topic of Yume Miru Kusuri, yes I'd recommend it, but it's short and you'd probably enjoy only half of the routes
One of the reason Cybuster and Valsione and Tasuku (I keep on forgetting his mech name I think it was Gangangangan) are so good is because they can move-MAP and they don't have to wait a turn most MAPs on the other SRW games are no attack after moving.

Every so often you'll find people with cost efficient Love or have a ton of other useless skills or be a subpilot. Basically pretty rare.
Kakusei is mostly useful for weird mastery points when you get some bad luck dodge at like 85% hit.

that's when i re-load the game >.< Zeorymer's subpilot was insanely good as she can restore Masaki's SP and she has Ai at the end. Start of the game spam +Will with Masaki and that girl from Rahxephon then have Her restore Masaki's SP and then solo the entire map with Zeorymer
