Normally a show either needs giant robots, good action, or hot girls for me to watch it. Or the show having an interesting premise, and actually develops a plot. So do any shows qualify as that this season? Slice of life shows do not need to apply, unless they are actually really funny (unlike Lucky ShitStar).

So far nothing is out that I would recommend to you then. SteinsGate is an obvious one for everyone, but I don't think you'd like Hanasaku Iroha or Nichijou. That OreTsubasa show is just retarded, stay away. ao No excorcist will probably be up your alley, but it hasn't aired yet.

Lucky Star was boring the first time I watched it and I dropped it. About a year or two later I got this incessant urge to revisit it and I found it to be incredibly hilarious instead.
So yeah. :X I think the rewatched counter stands at 9 or 10 by now.

Funny that people would complain about OreTsuba after both Southlight and I expressed our satisfaction at the first episode.
Well, it isn't something for everyone I guess, but the style is excellent far as I am concerned, Southlight probably feel similarly on the matter.

Yeah, I just looked at the description of Hanasaku Iroha:
Hanasaku Iroha centers around 16-year-old Ohana Matsumae who moves from Tokyo to out in the country to live with her grandmother at an old hot spring inn named Kissuisō. Ohana begins working at the inn and makes friends with the other employees. NOP, sounds boring as fuck.
Ao no Exorcist seems like something I'd watch, I'll look into that.

It was ok until the last thirty seconds.
I am actually a prince from a magical world.
Went from like an 8/10 first episode to 1/10.

You think Southlight and I would like a show that's just about that?
ED was amazingly troll though, I loved it.

About to watch OreTsuba after all this interesting contention. Have absolutely no background knowledge.
Love how Sentenal is all business. "NOP, sounds boring as fuck."
Started playing Original Generations for PS2 earlier today and wow, Angelg's Mirage Sign looks soooo sexy compared to its GBA animation.

If the next show has less retarded in it I might watch it.
More chick from the Bar, and I'll watch it.

There is a good reason that the ED was there, before long you'd be thinking that it is an amazing troll that is practically necessary for the show.
No, it isn't retarded.

Damnit Southlight, why'd you have to go and make that blog about Steins;Gate? It sits there and taunts me.

You should take this as a great time to catch up on old stuff then.
@ Kaal: You hated OreTsuba? I thought you were cool man.

I don't like Steinsgate at this point, i have a feeling it might try the (at this point cliche) route of trying to maintain a mystery to distract you from the show having no content, dragging you along for the ride and then revealing the entire plot wich turns out to be horrible and poorly written, wich in turn gets explained as "You don't get it!!! it's a master piece!!".
Might be an over-reaction but at this point i have my doubts. Will still watch a few more eps to see how far that turns out to be true but if it goes the Lost tour and keeps being vague for the sake of hiding a poorly written story then ill skip it.
Wich would be a shame because i actually would like a good Sci-Fi at this point. To round it all off, i hate the characters. The chick is too stupid, the guy is a cliche weird character (and yes, even the try-hard weird char has become a stereotype at this point) and the fat hacker is actually pretty decent compared to the other two walking stereotypes.

Steins;Gate is based off a highly acclaimed VN, so your story worries are kinda unfounded. The only reason it could fail would be because it's another VN to anime adaptation, and those have traditionally been done rather poorly.
@Sentenal: WATCH KAIJI

Somebody doesn't read Ecael and Southlight's posts
Edit: Also what Spazer said. I doubt that the VN would be as beloved as it is if it was like Lost (aka terrible).
Edit 2: Also, I am astounded and offended by your lack of faith in Urobuchi/Nitro+. *tsundere pose*

OreTsuba is weird, the end just made me mad. If the second episode has less bad I'll watch it.

I'm still waiting for a sub group that doesn't suck terribly to release OreTsuba. I'm also still waiting for the sub group I used for Hourou Musuko to release the final episode.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if you and Ecael like the anime after calling it a "storyboarding nightmare," and we all end up hating it.
