I'm not sure if the show is planning on being a drama with any level of earnest, or if it'll entirely be about satirizing common tropes. Some parts were quite funny and some weren't. What is the thrust of the show supposed to be? It is a storyboarding nightmare but Ecael's prediction about ep 1 and (what we expect of) 2 were right on (except for the first 2 mins ~_~). As for the story itself, it's a charming take on a slightly serious topic, but it's really pulled along by its awesome cast, so it's like a mix of a lot of different genre. Edit: Also YOKO PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEACE =<_^

The only reason it could fail would be because it's another VN to anime adaptation, and those have traditionally been done rather poorly. @Sentenal: WATCH KAIJI Apparently Kaiji is a sequel to a previous Kaiji show that I haven't watched. Would that be a problem? On April 05 2011 07:26 Ferrose wrote: I'm still waiting for a sub group that doesn't suck terribly to release OreTsuba. I'm also still waiting for the sub group I used for Hourou Musuko to release the final episode. ;_; Is CrunchyRoll doing that OreTsuba show? If so, lol@you waiting for someone besides HorribleSubs

And all the torrents on Tokyo Toshokan seem like troll groups, or are that group that Spazer described earlier. : /

Edit: Also YOKO PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEACE =<_^ Neither of us managed to predict the Chitose->Narita->Haneda order in episode 1 though, made for a trolltastic ED. But yeah, as you can see, switching between 3 characters and having such a huge cast makes it a nightmare storyboard wise. My main concern this point is mostly that with this kind of switches, it might be hard for viewers to appreciate individual characters quite as much. Though with the kind of crazy batshit these folks bring it shouldn't be too hard for them to be impressionable to the viewers. Look at Haneda and how he already pisses people off as Magical Prince Hawk ![]() Koudain~ Get more screentime please~ Avenge your lack of attention in fandisk~ On April 05 2011 08:00 Blasterion wrote: I liked OreTsuba =D but it kinda confused me with its ginourmous cast and you haven't seen them all yet~

It's got this great, rustic and organic vibe to it that's only accentuated by its lush, crisp visuals. Plus, it seems to be waxing a tad thoughtfully-sensitive. Really excited for this one. agreed! I am listening to Only My Railgun right now. I hated Index, and got tired of Railgun a few episodes into the first season, but damn this op so good

It's PA Works so I didn't expect much out of it, but, just like their previous works, it seems to have a lot of budget in the beginning and a complete lack of soul and luster.
