You can try IRC, although last time I checked niizk's bot wasn't there for some reason.

Ao No Excorcist Hen Zemi A Channel Moshidora S;G Hanasuka Iroha Nichijou Can't really decide on which one I'm anticipating the most. I'm not sure if I'll watch that Denpa show yet, I'll wait until Ferrose has an orgasm over it and whines about DenpaKanojo some more until I decide to watch it or not. Just watched OreTsubasa. *throws it in trash* wtf is this crap?

After watching the 1st movie, I noticed a few things. First I'd like to say, the atmosphere was great. Although I didn't know who these people are, or what they do, they movie's plot was still rather coherent. Hard to do without any background into anything. The music choice was great, and the mystic eyes of death perception had me squealing with joy. The animation was fluent too. Now I noticed 2 major plot holes: 1) Why even after so many suicides no one stood guard outside the building? Seems ridiculous to just let the whole town suicide 1 by 1 night after night... I get it that Shiki and that whleechair girl might have come in the dead of night 3-4 am, which would explain the town centre looking like a ghost town, but still after 7 suicides, no policemen outside??? 2) The guy obviously woke up after 1+ days of being unconscious... why wasn't he in the least bit surprised by the sudden date skip from his last moment awake recorded in his mind and the news date? Does that happen often to him, passing out for a few days+ ? Aside from that it was interesting. Looking forward to the other movies now =)

2) I don't think he noticed the news date, groggy as he was. And he doesn't pass out often - Fujou Kirie had taken a liking to him and tried to drag his soul with her. This realization (of him being "taken") is what prompts Shiki to act, but they struggled to really show this in the movie. Edit: To clarify, as far as he was concerned he went to sleep and woke up one day to see the # of suicides jump from like 3 to 7, and was confused.

Other than Lukako's very existence, I don't think there was much else in the ways of fanservice. Also the shower scene served as a very good counterpoint to the tension that was building up to that point, it wasn't until Okabe started thinking about it that I was like "Oh yeah fanservice!"

It's also in an abandoned sector, so technically it's like someone going to the ruins in the middle of a jungle and getting killed by a known serial murderer in the area. Yeah, the policemen would like to catch the bugger (although in this case they most likely were told to steer clear while they hired Touko to investigate) but anyone dumb enough to go there really is doing so at their own peril. 2) I don't think he noticed the news date, groggy as he was. Edit: To clarify, as far as he was concerned he went to sleep and woke up one day to see the # of suicides jump from like 3 to 7, and was confused. Hmm that would make sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the nasuverse (KnK-Tsukihime-FSN) supposed to be much more like a mirrored image of our world, just with magic and supernatural phenomenons? (I know some people do believe in supernatural phenomenons in our world too, but let's leave that aside for now). Or am I mistaken, and the nasuverse isn't mirrored as much as I though it would be? Maybe it's more of a culture thing, that occult is more acceptable in Japan (or the Orient in general) than here in Europe? Anyway the point I'm trying to make is, that in our world the police wouldn't accept it so easily. You know they're a pesky little organisation, hell bent on keeping us safe and abiding the law. I imagine that in our world, even if the general public believed and accepted the suicides as occult, the police would still probably station guards outside, to prevent anyone from entering, and thus trying to prevent further deaths. I understand there can be a lot of entrances into an abandoned building, in a bad part of town, and maybe that would put less stress on placing guards there, but I refuse to believe there would be none. Shiki I can believe entered, but a girl on a )squeaking( wheelchair going most likely less than 3 km/h entering without a care in the world? =/ Even if the magical organisation has their own within the top brass of police or even ties there, I would imagine more obstacles than 3 layers of '"DO NOT CROSS" yellow tape, even with Aozaki pulling those strings to make them stay out of it. (But I don't think they have those connections and I don't think she has a good connection to magical HQ either to pull them strings...) Another thing is: In the Nasuverse chart she has blue hair and in the movies she has red =D. Just a fun observation Since from what I remember KnK is supposed to be a parallel world to Tsukihime, and in Tsukihime the police wasn't doing much about vamps(or more widely known, the murders around town) too, maybe I'm just drilling too deep. Yeah your edit on the 2nd point is right on the spot. He just woke up and heard the number of victims skyrocketing. To be fair, maybe he noticed it only later after the end of the movie. But from a stylistic point of view, any kind of reaction would have been better than none at all.

The wheelchair never left the room, it wasn't that body that was at the building. Also if there are guards Shiki would just knock them out, she kind of doesn't give much of a damn about things like that. In general though, the battle sites in the Nasuverse tends to be devoid of civilians unless they were intentionally included. Since Touko has her hands on it, you can assume some warding charms or barriers.
