Wouldn't that be doing exactly what Taiga has been trying to do for her? Wouldn't the best decision be letting Ryuuji decide for himself? Taiga leaving the school definitely could have had another episode to have more impact since I really didn't feel much with her leaving and then returning a few minutes later. Sorry about the rant/rambling, but this is what I do once I watch a nice anime =] + Show Spoiler + Yup, exactly. It sort of looked like this to me in the end: Minorin: "You can have him." Taiga: "Lol really, what about you?" Minorin: "Just take him." Taiga: "Lol ok" Ryuuji: "Wait what about my opinion?" | ||

It's an entirely different story but with the same characters. This is what I THINK the plot is. (the story is very fast and confusing) The gekko crew want to go to neverland (place where time stops) because of an aging disease that they all received from some wacky experiment. They want to use renton and eureka to create neverland through a dream or some shit because some legend said so and they believe this legend. + Show Spoiler [problems with the movie] + nirvash and theend were plushies? Irrelevant things that just didn't need to take place or things that just made the movie more confusing. Not many things made sense. Very little character development. There were 4 characters or probably maybe just 2. Rest of the characters were just there. Where was Moondoggie!??!!!!? THE ENDING made me go "wat" The storyline and movie is saved by the artwork/animation. oh yeah and the music is terrific. | ||

I was really hoping for a development in this episode (remind you, I have never read the light novel, so I have no idea what's going to happen and I am a sucker for plots) That's why I'm hoping that it doesn't suck, although + Show Spoiler + the starting is the same three episodes in a row Edit: + Show Spoiler + Why is this episode also Endless Eight? I thought there'll be only 2 episodes of Endless Eight? o_O | ||

This was essentially a remake of the series, with a ton of reused animations, to present another story. The interesting thing is that we don't really know how it ties in time wise, in the beginning you see the reference to end of E7, but at the very end you hear things spoken in such a way as to refer to the beginning of E7. Character development was unnecessary, the characters more or less have retained a similar characterization to what was in the series. As for moondoogie, well, he was piloting? It was an interesting movie, in a way I almost feel like this is trolling Eva. I'll probably spend a bit longer thinking about this, but for the moment I am just going to be like yay Eureka with looong hair. Win. I thought there'll be only 2 episodes of Endless Eight? o_O The idea that Endless Eight was supposed to finish in two episodes (or even one) was because of the fact that it was just one chapter in the light novel, not even a particularly hefty one at that. Instead of doing that, they decided it is a brilliant idea to start setting up for Disappearance. I mean, what are we missing, Sighs? That's all in episode 00 anyway, and watching Haruhi-chan is better for that :p The real joke would be if they go through the summer doing this. Lastly, I finally got to watch Utawarerumono OVA. That's completely untouched by the censoring laws it seems, lol. So far it looks like they are doing events in the game that was not shown in the anime, which is much appreciated. For one I loved the story from this episode when I read it. Now I should dredge through my memory to see what else they can do. | ||
