Also need to watch utawarerumono ova and finish watching E7 movie. The latter is pretty interesting idea wise. About Haruhi, Testie, just try to survive till Disappearance, all will be explained. Or rather, it won't, but you might have more sympathy about the events. Did the cast at least change outfits? That was getting to be the only thing I am looking forward to. First run of Endless Eight was great in the same way Some Day in the Rain was awesome (btw everyone must listen to the gensou version of some day in the rain). From then on+ Show Spoiler + it becomes a fashion show as all people care about are the variances, which might well as be clothing only  | ||

And by the way the previous episode (Endless Eight II) seemed, it looks like it won't be the case. Maybe half of the Sighs I episode will be.. but not the whole episode at least. | ||

There are only English names really, we have like a good 2/3rd of the characters in English, lol, the game had a hilarious part where Battler just bitched about how they all got screwed up kanji versions of English names while the grandfather just had a normal Japanese name. The game was a lot harder to remember though, there is a reason they released books on hints lol, simply keeping track of the time was amazingly difficult if you don't take notes. | ||

As for Haruhi...they had such a fucking gay cliff in that last one...horribly gay. I haven't read that far in the novels, so I've no idea what's coming; maybe that's making this still fun for me...lol. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I guess I was just in the moment and didn't think critically about the anime, but now that I finished it I'm starting to. I agree that the series should have lasted a bit longer. I thought that the pacing was great for all the episodes except maybe the last 2. Ryuuji saving Taiga from the snow was well done, but I suppose I see where you're coming from Kona. Maybe they could've added a bit more drama to the whole scene or extended it a bit. The only thing I found that was rushed in the last 2 eps were the whole running away->marriage thing. Seems like it could have had more impact if it was done over more episodes. The kiss scene and all that was done well. Also Minorin breaking down and then getting over Ryuuji felt rushed. I mean, I'm not certain if she broke down because she didn't get Ryuuji or something.......dunno. And why would Minorin say that she decides her own happiness and start forcing Ryuuji to like Taiga? Wouldn't that be doing exactly what Taiga has been trying to do for her? Wouldn't the best decision be letting Ryuuji decide for himself? Taiga leaving the school definitely could have had another episode to have more impact since I really didn't feel much with her leaving and then returning a few minutes later. Sorry about the rant/rambling, but this is what I do once I watch a nice anime =] | ||

The anime was fun, but yeah...it didn't really handle the drama and plot twists and all that very well. The comedy was great, though. | ||
