the main villain reveals his motivations are that a cataclysmic event will destroy the human and digital world so he needed to be evil and raise an army to stop it...in 2000 years. And the "joke" is that the humans don't give a shit because that's 2000 years away but the Digimon have a different concept of time so all the Digimon freak out that they're out of time. And then all of the middle schoolers decide to create a new country for humans and Digimon to coexist, given a plot of land between dimensions from the Digimon god thing. The End. | ||

I think it gets better as more characters are introduced, since it kind of dilutes the "main-ness" of the main character(s), which I think is a good thing for the show. But maybe you were just put off by the way everyone smiles, in which case I get it. | ||

So you might not be wrong here, even though I can't remember any of the faces. | ||

So, yeah that was a joke, but I honestly would not blame some one for finding it annoying enough to stop watching. | ||

Havent watched Digimon since...S4? S3 was really lame with the trading cards and s4....i didnt like the merging thing so young me didn't enjoy it. | ||
