Best anime this season for me: Spy x Family - I just can't get enough of this show, they could release nothing but filler episodes and I'd be perfectly fine with that More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers - didn't expect much from it since the premise is completely bonkers but I found myself enjoying it greatly Beast Tamer - cool power fantasy I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss - interesting twist on isekai genre and I'm blown away at the pacing of this show, every 3-4 episodes it literally goes through a full season's worth of plot so it never feels dull, great music too Eminence in Shadow - kinda typical isekai with OP MC but it's done in an interesting way and the ridiculousness of it makes it fun Resurrected as a Sword - nice twist on the isekai genre Chainsaw Man - great music, world building and attention to detail
This is pretty much all that I'm watching now in terms of anime.

Haven't started that one yet. It's on my list but other things were occupying me so didn't have time to start even S1 of it. I'm still searching for something as heart-breaking as Iroduku. A Silent Voice, Your Name and Your Lie in April came close but nowhere near the same level.

Its so simplistic and yet just funny, i really like it a lot. If you got to ground yourself after watching a visual firework you could give it a try
Is it actually good? My friend group has been memeing on it since we saw the poster for it, but never watched it
I guess that really depends on your taste... if you dont mind that it feels more like a comic than an anime and dont pay too much attention to its stiff animations and the fact that you rarely see any legs or feet (lol), it really is funny.

I've started on it. Not bad but not really hitting hard in the feels yet. There are some interesting characters that we meet and have to part with but considering the nature of the protagonist there isn't much attachment to them so the emotional damage is minimal. Maybe it'll get better later when the protagonist's consciousness is more developed and it starts developing attachments (even then I have hard time seeing it right now seeing how the protagonist is an immortal and supposedly eternal being, others are just disappearing to it like tears in the rain).

Nice reference. It starts slow for sure but I'd say...S2 or halfway into S2 is when it seems like it never stops. I felt like, after he meets March, that's when his consciousness has awakened.
There's a very specific reason I said "anime to butcher" lol. They will 100% not put in the effort needed, but its still an easy sales pitch to idiot execs who don't know better
Yeah, Netflix anime dead because some shows (video says two dozen) get removed. Maybe. What's with these headlines, jeez... Or maybe it's actually true because Netflix only has 24 shows on its platform. That would explain why in 9 out of 10 times I look for an anime on Netflix, they don't have it...
I'm alright with the last couple of episodes of Mob Psycho s3. At first I didn't like where they were headed but after thinking a bit about it I think it made sense for Mob's character development and fit the theme of the show very well.
I also watched the first part of Heaven's Feel. Was alright. Visuals were pleasing as expected, except for the cgi + Show Spoiler +
especially in Lancer vs Assassin...
. The characters were bad but that was also no surprise after UBW. The story is fairly enjoyable if you can ignore some random asspulls. I hope I can find the motivation to watch the other 2 parts before I forget everything that has happened in the first movie...

Sometimes I wonder if I'm just a hater for finding CSM to be a 7.5-8/10, other times I read on the internet that fans want MAPPA to "redo" Chainsaw Man for not being Chainsaw Man-y enough.
From what I have seen people are happy with it? Most of the key stuff that elevates CSM wasn't even covered in the season. Hell more then half of it a lot of people refer to as the prologue.
