It's just a fun show, as always. I think having a climax or a point where it ties all the loose ends together was one of the main reasons I liked Tatami Galaxy more than The Night is Short, Walk on Girl. The movie was a great experience but Tatami Galaxy came closer to the perfection of thoughtful story-telling imho. One day I will watch everything of Lupin. There just so many episodes... (for the record, I have only watched s1...) Agreed. I wasn't too hot on most of Tatami Galaxy, but that ending was the highest high.
The best thing about Lupin is that despite having a million entries, it's still entirely episodic. You can pick and choose what to watch with no drawbacks. The only real continuity in the series are Lupin's jacket colors.

I'm here to defend Toradora.
Gonna start the re-watch tonight.

Think about that for a second!

Hm yeah but I would like to watch it in chronological order to see the style progress.

Zombieland Saga looks to be a sleeper hit. The first 5 minutes (maybe less) had me laughing my ass off. Then it takes a twist and...you'll have to watch it to see what I mean.

I went in blind and thought it was going to be an isekai after the first few minutes, but it turned into something else somewhat unexpected...
It was also cool to hear the Mamoru Miyano again in a substantial role, especially after S;G0 ended last week.

lol zombieland saga was quite something to go in blind xD Could be a really fun series also the voice actor cast is pretty nice.

Goblin Slayer is going to be amazing. First episode really delivered.

Yea If I ever want to watch read something like Goblin Slayer Ill just do Berserk instead. Same thing but actually good.

Look at the snob over there! :p Chill man, not everything can be the anime we revere. Enjoy it or don't.
|
Having an actual good adaption of Beserk would go a long way to cure the salt

I caught up on that promised neverland manga
pretty good. i think some people's concerns that it's super low stakes shounen/should be more of a seinen title are somewhat warranted, but it makes me feel good inside so w.e.
phil is a hero ;_;

Can't say I have any affection left for Goblin Slayer after reading it for so long. Anyways, it surprised me how awful the animation was, considering how popular the series is. But if it's any consolation, the anime will probably only adapt the first few arcs. The later arcs are actual garbage. I have no motivation to keep watching in any case.
Sora to Umi no Aida is ridiculous, but at least they seem to be aware of it. That said...

Oh fuck off. This is basically Taishou Baseball Girls (which I liked), but less grounded and without a believable justification. If this was commentary on the actual fishing industry then it'd be understandable, but I seriously doubt that considering they contract with Horizon style gods to do super moves.
Hinomaru Sumo is sports with sumo. Ep 1 was cliche as hell.
Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru is sports with running(?). Not terribly clear what the format is, but it's a team thing. Decent execution. It also seems to be a great excuse for them to draw toned male bodies.
Bunny Girl is like early Oregairu except with all the wit removed. Also I hate everyone already.
Thunderbolt Fantasy s2 is as expected. JoJo as well.

That was a fun first episode of Goblin Slayer. I can't wait for more shock and brutality.

Uchi ga Maid ga Uzasugiru might actually have the best animation this season. Also Kalinka was randomly used as background music at one point. I think that's the first time I've ever heard it in a show.
So yeah, solid first episode. Guess I'm on board now.
