I normally find out what's popular by how much fanart it generates. That Rem/Ram show was just insane amounts of fanart all day when it was airing.

twitter and pixiv mostly. But as it is with these things, sex sells so everyone does some amount of R18 stuff. So even if you want to see only the non-lewd stuff you'll probably get stuff that's NSFW on your twitter feed from people liking, retweeting or the random "i wanna draw boobs today!" from someone who's usually pretty tame.

One of the guys I like the most from the people I follow for example would be the guy who does stuff like this:

such good art. The expressions on their faces are 10/10

As for non-lewd stuff, I kinda likes these mini-stories for example:

Also, Franxx has sucked since the beginning, it just wasn't apparent how bad it was until a few episodes in. Its like people now days have never seen a mecha anime with girls in plugsuits that cram sexual metaphors down your through every episode. 1995 happened a long time ago, people.

Franxx was good. Went down hill later on but overall it has been a good ride. Certainly more entertaining then most slop that was airing this season.

Good drawing though. That anime was pretty ok, for what I assume was intended as the usual trashy fanservicey anime. I only remember it becuase the opening song opens with WANKEEERRRRRR, and the hilarious part where the end of one episode is serious and everyone is saying how they will always remember this one girl and the next episode they totally have forgotten her and have moved on.

Man, this next season is really looking bad. I think this upcoming season is going to be one of the worst seasons in recent years. I think I counted 3 shows at best that might be interesting, of which 1 is a guaranteed watch (overlord). Just sad ;;
