New Gintama. I am complete. Thank you anime overlords. Now this is the final arc. Not the final season. There manga is still ongoing. Unless they cut out all filler like they did the previous three arcs.

Anyway, my Sundays are now perfect.

Also, and sorry to say this I guess, I feel like the crowd liking those kind of things also comes into play. You know, like some people like Slacks (Dota) and some people just can't stand him?
So for example, from my point of view as a European, seeing them announce something for the US version of FGO and suddenly everyone starts chanting USA USA made me cringe so hard as well...

This is such a shitty season. All I see are ecchi and harem anime. Wtf is this crap? I'm sure someone will say FLCL or banana boat, but neither one interests me and I remember when I read the banana boat synopsis a while back, it was pretty odd/not interesting. At least I have overlord to look forward too. There's also that one mystery anime so guess that's 2 ;;

I noticed E3 had the same issues. Seems hiring "personalities" is what people do now instead of any kind of qualified professional for the emcee job. It makes the experience real shit.

Hanebado's animation is solid. I think this is the first rotoscoped show Ive seen that hasn't immediately gone to the uncanny valley. It's actually pretty hard for me to tell unless I'm paying very close attention to difficult sequences like walking forward while turning slightly. The constant movement works really well for badminton because of how fast and dynamic the sport is.

As for the drama, it's absurd but still entertaining for now.

so far the subaru isekai is like basically anohana mixed with sword art online. Heck, the main group is also very similar to the anohana group where you have the leader blamed for the death of the menma copy, there's an anaru and a yukiatsu as well. Also i don't get how a company that made a game featuring free to play, the need for some sort of "sense" to be even able to play it, and account perma-death ever became internationally renown but realism wasn't ever the goal so whatever.

isekai maou seems lewd. it even shows the slave magic in the beginning and slave narou series aren't known for being good. the mc is ok but not really different from the norm. Seems more comedy focused.

harukana seems ok. i have a feeling it'll be less lewd than hanebado tho. Dunno what's gonna happen next but it's enjoyable enough to watch another ep.

haven't watched anything else

Spring was a bad season. But i'll take spring over summer any day. this season is terrible. Fall seems better though.
