Dropped the ball on so many fucking aspects, the gears, the mob, the whole underdog thing, leadup to the final fight is just disappointing and even most of the fights are so disappointing and play out in the exactly same way repeatedly Such neat style, animation and soundtrack wasted on such a fucking poorly told story despite having a neat concept that they ruined | ||

And I agree. But this show is actually pretty old and has been told over and over. So I get why they didn't go into detail and make this a 2cour or even 2 season anime. Same way as Gegege no Kitaro is really old and almost nothing makes sense. Everything in self-contained in each episode. Meglobox could have been Samurai Champloo. But it isn't. Take it for what it is. | ||

So now I'm looking at Anidb, Anilist, and Kitsu. I would also (maybe) like to keep track of manga and other media, and wouldn't mind using multiple sites for them, as long as the features are good and the catalogs are complete (as much as possible anyway). You guys got any recommendations? Would be much appreciated. | ||

Or at least it feels that way to me? Good thing that we're moving towards less fanoutrage these days about "omg how dare this 30+ year old I fantasize about have a relationship" over there it seems. I mean I'm sure that still exists but I feel like it's become a bit less If anything it's probably more of a problem for guys these days? Just thinking back about kamiya announcing his marriage or sakurai takahiro a couple months ago with his possible slip that he might be married at the ripe young age of 44 | ||

That'll be fun. yeah the announcements are all from people 30+. If you're 29 or younger you're still pretty much not allowed to date. At least not officially. But I feel like it was even worse a while ago where even people in the 40's or 50's would not tell people that they're seeing someone/married. Maybe just because of selfinterest because no matter what it's going to make you less popular with the the opposite sex. And like I said, I feel like that's still the case for guys in the industry who tend to be older overall. | ||
