It's way more fun to watch and it goes through way more character backstories than akagi does. Akagi is just kind of dark and serious with the whole big gambles, and stuff like washizu mahjong but that doesn't make it anymore cool or exciting to watch. I guess it's more psychological but saki has mind games too. That one match took over 10+ years in the manga btw. | ||
