It really depends on what movie and then having somewhat luck on top of that. Like I mentioned, Kizu2 straight up didn't have a screening here (I think?) until Kizu3 hit and they decided to run it as a special with all 3 back to back for... iirc 20€ or something like that. Tried to lure Elem here to watch it together with a promise of food, beer and milky holmes movie after that but he refused
But with the big titles it should mostly be okay especially in NA recently? http://www.fatestaynightusa.com/sp/theater/ for example or the NGNL movie (I know you don't care fir ngnl)
//yeah those are all 1day specials, same here. They don't screen regularly
I watched heaven's feel in theater and it was just everyone playing FGO while they waited for the movie to start lmao.
It was pretty cool since it was pretty easy to talk to people around you. There were like only 3 days to watch it though and at specific times so it kind of sucks at the same time.
LOGH did Volume 1 in 16 episodes, then Volume 2 in 10, then Volume 3 in 9, then Volume 4 in 12, and then Volume 5 in 8. And since LOGH is the greatest anime, this says that all other adaptions must follow this order, lest they not be as good as LOGH.

Milky Holmes movie? I don't even need the food and beer, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
Unrelated but Ice asked the other day about how difficult different pronunciation in japanese is since things have different readings and without getting too much more into it again, here, have a promotional video with Taketatsu Ayana (voicing Yamato) + Fujita Saki (voicing Akagi) + Host and the host mispronounces the name Kitakami after trying to read it out loud:
it's timestamped to the moment and he clearly says Kitagami instead lol. And that's someone who, probably, at least looked some of that up because he knows he has to hold a presentation on this to show new figures, nendos etc.
Ill butt in since I feel like im the only one here that doesnt follow any airing stuff anymore (Im kinda glad that I dont - no seriously).
First off - decided to switch from my S2 to S5 and the difference is huge (not only in phone size T_T) from 800x480 to 1920x1080 - im finally able to watch all the stuff I have and not worry about resizing subs. Not to mention the clear/sharp display.
Got into some movies Ill briefly go over them to stir up some discussion hopefully? Spoilers are inside so mind that. Not to mention im not looking into like super deep hidden meaning and stuff nah.
Its been a while since I saw this one. First of it was interesting 2 kids want to restore the plane and fly to the tower. I like it its both mystery to them and us, they add the girl, spend the summer and she suddenly goes into a "coma". Now starts the sci-fi stuff with waves, parallel worlds etc - not a fan of that same with gueriella warfare and big war closing in - kind of a filler imo. After disagreement, they go with bringing her back using that part was interesting. About visual - the "plane" was kinda wanky tbh other than that better than average, soundtrack - nothing memorable imo. Wort a rewatch - Not really. Worth Keeping on HDD - Its okayish filler.
It's great, visuals, character's - especially Elektra - really dig her damn. Its your BIG Cowboy Bebop episode what else. Scenes are great, plot has unpredictable turn points. Action, mysteries, great music. Watch it. Worth recommending - YES Worth Rewatching - YES - did it few times already.
This one is a hard watch, start to finish. Premise is simple - shy girl unable to hear entering a "normal" class and her day to day problems. We all have been here - there were the good kids, dorks, hidden ones you name it (tho we didnt have any1 who was "disabled - thats what you call sucha person?)[If im mistaken - IM SORRY - correct me here]. One day shit hits the fan, no1 wants to take responsibility, they end up pulling eachother bringin the deeds out. "MC(?)" pays the expected price (you got what u deserved bitch - you think) then they show u how he was affected.- really liking it. He starts to meet "old pal's" and the past still haunts them (again totally realistic). He tries to pay her back for being such asshole (at least i think so) - it all goes so far, until you realize that Shoko doesnt like herself the way she is and the twist gets you {It sure got me damn - only after that the pictures her younger sister was taking got me to realize what they were for damn - it was even explained so yeah. It conveys totally realistic story with characters motives and interactions. Worth recommending? - Yes - be warned its a HARD, I mean a HARD watch - Just like Grave of Fireflies (Oh, man) Worth a Rewatch - Yes - if you're willing to take up the challenge. Visuals - Eye candy, Sound - Subtle themes play in the key scenes - really like it, doesnt distract you all that much.
Wont spoil it, its a great watch. If you want to be a detective look for small clues that are given. (Realized that only after the rewatch - LOL) Its on the shorter side, Story is somewhat realistic - wont go into detail. You get attached to characters easily (At least I did) Worth Recommending? - Yes Worth Rewatching - Yes - Did it few times. ALSO can any1 tell me what is he saying from 41:45 to 42:05?? My subs are not here!!! (first line is about summer ending? and in the last one he wonders what is she doing whenever she is??? - that might be kinda easy ot guess but if im understanding some words im in a bad situation :O)
This one is fresh, It really shares similarities with NGE even tho this one is older. MC is a crybaby we get that for 4 episodes damn, Until 3rd we dont know who they're up against. Then they try to throw some plot twists but these are rather easy to predict - nothing too dramatic. The only thing that really hooked me was the time differences in sub-light speed vs earth. 2nd episode starts it, 4th one where kimiko has a kid, 6th where Amano gets older - damn now im curious if it really works that way. Managed to spot some cameo posters during watch - Totoro, Nausicaa, Yamato (EP 5 check the wall) Really like the spaceship desings - somethin ala LoGH - huge + Art style is something that makes you recognize that ur watching some Old School stuff even if story is super simple. Did not enjoy the forced fanservice - meh. Worth recommending - Yes if you want something simple and old school. Worth a rewatch? - Maybe if you're bored Now onto Macross - had it before but havent watched it yet
Hmm to spoil or to not spoil. Ill keep it simple 1st part is an introduction, 2nd part is a in between that is not connected and 3rd one is a conclusion to 1st one. With a rather hard (realistic ending). Worth recomnending - Yes - even tho the middle part (2) isnt really necessary Worth a rewatch - Yes - + Show Spoiler +
its kept in real setting easy to connect to - you would wish for something in 1st part to happen to you but after you watch the ending ur kind of better off not getting it.
I would put in as #1 - due to being easy to watch, conveying a compeling story with ending that will leave you with tears in the eyes - thanks to the song & classic piano ending. Now where have I been when this aired/was mentioned in here T_T
Phew this took over an hour to write up damn, now for all of it to disappear due to mesage time exceeded - hell no im not falling for that hah!
Damn forgot about akira T_T but im too busted after work to write about that. Would say that it is controversial. With many things to discuss
And yes - Your voice - is in backlog, I know about it.
@edit - mandatory typos before some1 quetoes me, and theres so many of em - noooooooooooooooooooooooo
The physics in gunbuster are real, yes. Astronauts in the space station are technically experiencing time differently from everyone on earth and when they come back to earth they'll technically be seconds younger than if they had stayed on earth, this effect increases the faster you go with you theoretically being able to 'time travel' into the future if you could go fast enough

oh, thats the joke
the 4 are sitting at the table and suddenly sylphin says how much she likes umaru's big brother because he's such a nice person and all. Then Kirie follows up with basicly the same and Ebina is sitting next to them.
Never was she so dead as in that moment. And she had plenty of near-death experiences already, such as:
must be nice being able to color one character in basicly nothing but the same color.
