Damn Fall looks good. I counted at least 20 shows I'm going to be keeping an eye on. Gintama number 1 of course. Followed by...Black Clover.

fall looks ok.. it's got dies, shokugeki, mahoutsukai, yuyuyu, kino, 3gatsu, gintama i guess but i don't watch that, juuni taisen looks cool and it's by nisio and the originals don't look too bad. but damn 6 novel/ln/vn adaptions. booooooooo

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't we specifically talking about the character design? The video doesn't deal with character design. If we had talked about the background design there wouldn't have been a discussion because I would have wholeheartedly agreed with you. The world itself has Ghibli vibes all over it. Apparently it's spring 2018 now.

character design was the part we disagreed on. I just think taken all together as a whole, it still reminds me of ghibli.

For me it will be:

Watch

- Mahoutsukai no Yome (I don't know the manga but literally every source says this is generally good)
- Inuyashiki (interesting premise, manga is good apparently)
- Kino no Tabi (not comfortable with the staff though)
- 3-gatsu s2

3 eps

- Dies Irae (some people here talked about it even way before the anime was announced so I'm interested)
- Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou (post-apocalyptic adventure? could be legit fun)
- Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau (interesting premise, dunno about JC Staff though)

maybe sometime

- Osomatsu-san s2
- Kekkai Sensen s2

If I watch any at all that is. I can't tell what my schedule will be like in fall and whether I will have internet or not but this is what I'm interested in.

Plan to watch/try :
*Mahoutsukai no Yome (oh god yes, pls)
*Black Clover
*Code:Realize
*Inuyashiki (I've been wanting to read the manga for a long time, looks like this should give the final straw as to whether to read it or not)
*Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau
*Ou-sama game (I've read the manga a long time ago. I'm not sure how good the anime will be, but I'm willing to try it out. Manga gets pretty dark)
*Just Because
*Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou

Is Juuni taisen just a straight ripoff of fate?
Konohana kitan seems to give a large Hanasaku Iroha vibe. Might pick it up if initial community reactions are good.

There is enough Manga for ~1.5 more seasons right now (good content as well). So they could likely do season 3 in a year if it is well received enough.

The fall season will have 22 episodes according to r/anime.

never. It's a tradition that will live on in here for as long as new seasons air. And people complain when you don't include the other ones... "omg, where is my Gaen? Shit poll" etc so you have to include all the random girls noone even knows without looking it up like Higasa + Rouka Numachi from Hanamonogatari. Which only makes comming up with animals for them even more stupid because then really noone knows who the fuck you're talking about.
