why are you tormenting me like this twitter... Guess Koi to Uso is already out and I wanted to try that... at least something
Isekai Shokudou and Knights & Magic are pretty cool. I'm going to add that to my list to watch. Hopefully I won't have to trim this season like last season.
This was a fanservice episode in every way you could think. The first couple seconds were lewd and after that nonstop feel-good moments about each and every character. I even laughed when the Nene segment happened: + Show Spoiler [pic] +
Also, this obvious question everyone ignores because "duh, moe anime", made me burst out in laughter: + Show Spoiler [pic] +
I called it a fanservice episode but asides from Kou's very detailed.. getting-up animation with a healthy focus on her ass it wasn''t really lewd or anything. Just generally lots of stuff you'll like if you enjoyed the first season. So don't take it as you'd usually take the word fanservice (I just used it because that first scene DID happen and so it fits everything )
So with that being said: ANIME IS SAVED. This season is saved. I proclaim New Game!! AotS and don't care how bad anything else ends up being because I went into this with massive amounts of hype and expectations and it surpassed all that. What a good episode1 for a continuation
I thought Isekai was pretty lame. It felt flat and sterile if that makes sense. It felt like emotions, stories and dialouge were cut out from a cardboard and pieced together.
I don't think there was any kind of emotion or story we got to see yet. It was just the introduction in a... I guess sterile is rather fitting, way. I didn't mind that personally. It's not your 16 year old MC hero story that needs to hook you with it's first 10 minutes but some random guy running a restaurant (which happens to have guests from other worlds).
I understand what you mean but to me it wasn't a problem
I would say a hook can be quite different depending on the show. With a show like this you are either hooked from episode 1 or 2 or you won't ever be hooked. That's because these types of shows get mainly carried by atmosphere and conversations. I'll give it one more episode I guess.
