Biggest thing I noticed was that Ais is actually more talkative in the manga and looks cuter too. The anime painted her as someone who barely spoke and felt reserved but it's totally different in the manga. I'm at the part where + Show Spoiler +they are about to encounter the enraged minotaur and so far, the only thing that I don't remember seeing in the anime was the ambush on them and of course, Hestia's drunken rant about Bell-kun which was pretty funny to read.
You reading the main series or one of the side stories like sword oratoria? I stopped reading the manga since i read the source lns way far ahead in the story.
Also the only acceptable ending for Saekano is for all 3 of the girls to realize how shit the mc is and abandon him.

Should read the Ryuu spinoff manga. Best elf!

Bahamut was good. + Show Spoiler +I honestly was surprised that everyone on MAL was surprised that Mugaro is a girl. I mean, MAL description also says "He". I personally would have thought Mugaro is more likely a girl. Ofc there is also the possibility that he really is a boy and Nina is wrong.
Sword Oratoria was also pretty good, my fav episode so far.

Just watched the Gurren Lagann movies. They're a real treat for fans of the show, especially the second one. I thought the show power creeped up to 1000000, but the show turns it up to 100000000000.

Best elf indeed.
Watched Sukasuka. Was pretty good. They had me going for a second there.

There's no season 2 in the works afaik and I don't think LNs are translated. So long as the manga is updated weekly or w/e, I'll have get my weekly fix that way.
As for Saekano, they'll never realize that and leave him, too bad XD

Before I started buying them I read the 1st like 4 vols online so they are out there translated somewhere. Keke There are also some stuff translated like a lot of the Ryuu short stories.
I don't think any of the Sword Oratoria LNs are translated though. There is a manga for it as well however.

Eromanga is pretty consistent with it's laughs. Nothing great but it's there and I can listen to the OP + ED all day long so there's that. I just hope we get less of that stupid elf-girl and more of everyone else.
Basicly same for DanMachi minus the OP and ED

I've been rewatching Yu Yu Hakusho since it was the first anime that I distinctly remember getting into when I was like 6 or 7 (aside from Kikaider but I can barely remember that one) and god dammit I love it so good.
Toguro is one of my favorite villains and I love the Dark Tournament's latter half.

I thought Toguro was pretty average/ok as a villain overall and the fights with him were beyond boring. He was one of the better villains in the series though, yes.
//I'm now 10 episodes into the first season of Natsume and I'm sad to say this but I'm a bit bored. This is basically Mushishi-light, without the excellent atmosphere and story writing. The theme of the stories is always pretty similar, the dialouge is very simplistic, there is lots of plot-conveniences... I mean, it's ok but that's it. Is the writing going to become more refined in the later seasons?

It wont really change much, its more of the same with some progress and thats what i like about it. I dont think its meant to be bingewatched either.
I like it more than Mushishi, because the lonely mc wandering from one short story to the next couldnt really keep me interested, while here i enjoy the interactions between the characters.

So it has some real progression and not just fake progression? That's at least something to look forward to.

Probably needs another 15-20 chapters to get to that :/ It stops right before + Show Spoiler +Bell fights that guy who he had some trouble with at the little hostess bar. Assuming that takes 5-10 chapters to resolve, still need to beat the goliath so another 10+ chapters at least :/ How far do the 4 vols go? Do they finish up to the anime's end or go much further?

The anime only covered like Vol 1 maybe 2 iirc.

Finished Natsume s1. Was ok in the end, I'm probably going to watch the other seasons eventually. Is Nyanko-sensei a homage to Tora from Ushio to Tora? Both youkai, both tsundere-cats who want to eat the MC yet "secretly" love him, both guardians for the MC, both kind of carry the show...hmh^^
I also started the first season of Lupin III. It was quite enjoyable. + Show Spoiler +I lol'd when Lupin crashed all the pipes and then proceeded to peg out washing on a clothesline in the lift. :D

Oh there are still people doing translations? I figured they stopped after the official release. I remember they were only translated up to 5 before it got licensed. The official English release just put out vol 8 last month.
