inc, that's kind of a vague description, can you describe what you like to watch in terms of plot or such, genre, etc?

Umineko has a ton of things where things appear more readily understood than it is, so Higurashi probably employs a good amount of those false leads and such too. inc, that's kind of a vague description, can you describe what you like to watch in terms of plot or such, genre, etc? + Show Spoiler + i'm not sure if umineko has the same format, for higurashi but 7 of the 8 arcs cover the same time span, and are all alternate continuities (except for 2 which are mostly the same story from different perspectives).

Hahaha, Sengoku is by far the best of the spring season. Engrish is godly and Date has it down perfectly! Also, to INC something like Naruto but isn't. Try Hunter x Hunter or Law of Ueki.

There are more than 8 arcs for Higurashi, you see more in the OVA, I think it was like 10+ total in visual novel form. That said, just as you mentioned of there being "mirror" arcs revealing additional events as well as future arcs showing further information, given what you are talking about is something from very early on, it is highly likely it has been inserted specifically as a way to trick the viewer/reader. For example, with Umineko, even with the mechanisms of the world semi-revealed by episode 2 (end of episode 1 really told you nothing), your original expectations keeps on getting shoving aside each time. Given the two are the same in their roots, I think that the note thing is probably a similar plot device. Man I want episode 5, I just saw some random doujin pictures the other day reminding me of how episode 4 ended, that was so sad ![]() In case there is any confusion, I've watched Higurashi, both seasons, up to date with OVAs, read a good amount of the mangas, but have yet to take the time to download all the games/novel text grabs and read through them.

I've seen all of CSR, and the Engrish was pretty good but the things Date says is why it's better.. Plus I'm a huge fan of Nakai, Kazuya so.

I find that the amount of Engrish they say just dwarves what Date says. As manly as Date is, that one guys Engrish is also manly, and the sheer amount of it... well.
