She's similar to Mariendorf in that she's part of the nobility and on good terms with Reinhard, but she disappeared after a couple eps. Reinhard's sister also could've been interesting had she not become a recluse. Amusingly enough, I think Jessica ends up being one of the most important women in-universe despite how little screentime she gets. | ||

Just earlier something else with Stella no Mahou as well. Maybe they're really overworked and can't keep up with all the animu anymore. Pretty bland girlish number episode but I liked it quite a bit nontheless. + Show Spoiler + really not a whole lot happening but I liked all the Kazuha as well as Momoka scenes. Would have loved to see more of that in fact. Actually calling it bland is probably going too far. We did get a closer look at 3 characters, just that the rest of the epsiode itself was uneventful. I'd agree with ANN that the characters are the strong point of this show, so yeah, I prefer getting a better look at how the characters tick over getting some random story thrown in there Also, Ferrose seems to be a fan of Chitose but he's missing out on Momoka. So I just finished episode 7 of Zeta today wich was the Side 2 Gassing backstory. When this image popped up and the colonies went full "Make colonies great again" I just had to pause to hold my laughter back, the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon is real. From that point onward I had a very hard time taking the rest of the episode seriously, but then Lila died and that caught me off-guard hard. In hindsight the death flags were super obvious but I didn't think she'd die because : -Zeta's only 7 episodes in atm -She seemed like an important character -It's almost always the guy that dies tragically while the girl gets left behind So yeah this was quite the episode, really curious to see how Jerid will handle this. Zeta's first couple of episodes were pretty akward but it's picking up steam fast right now, looking forward to the rest. | ||

It's like they went, well, we gotta have them talk about nothing so let's do that! Recap into trying to think of a way to be useful into dancing with a basara wtf. Ever since their last battle with Yuuto, the show has been going downhill steadily. Dragon spots with Sae, ok, that was passable then an episode with a mourning period, now this... Not to mention that basara felt like a rare breed and after the dragon spots arc, we've been introduced to at least 3-4 new ones which makes kamui even less special from that perspective. | ||

Looking at the signs people have at that rally you posted, I notice one says "Let Spacenoids rule Earth" And then people say that Earth is overly oppressive and the Colonies just want freedom. lol | ||

It really is weird how they had several episodes in a row where they introduce random basara's then completely throw them back into irrelevance. For a while I had no clue if there even was an antagonist anymore. The last episode was indeed very bad, typical filler flash back episode. Though it looks like the series should pick up again a bit starting next episode. Hopefully the show doesn't tank more. | ||
