Never saw him talking about it Lover, no doubt about that. I actually bought the Kizumonogatari novel, which explained A LOT about the style of the show. Miragee has Bakemonogatari rated at 5/10 for some reason, whereas I have rated it 9/10. As I said, it's one of the rare cases where our ratings differ significantly. | ||

It noticed that negative reviews tend to fail on shows that don't feature a "right in your face" kind of storyline because often people who write those reviews didn't fully grasp what was going on and thus didn't enjoy it. I watched Bakemonogatari and thought about everything that didn't feature Crab was incredibly boring because it was all casual, sub-intelligent dialouge about stuff I didn't care about. In the case of Crab, there was actually some witty dialouge which was well written. I think I was also annoyed at times when they kept repeating certain phrases that I thought were silly in the first place. Whelp, I can't remember it too clearly, I only know that I decided to not touch another Monogatari in the near future. Bear in mind that I probably didn't grasp a lot of the references or play on words so that might have decreased my enjoyment. Although even when I got them I didn't think they were funny, either. | ||

The admins have gotten better at catching troll recommendations.
