I really didn't like that because all those assholes made him struggle with everything except for based blond guy in the kitchen. When I got to season 2 I realized that MC is not any better himself and it got a lot better for me just because it's everyone making everyone struggle to some degree | ||

Inami is honestly one of my most disliked love interests for a main character. What a shitty character, the later seasons got better when she was less in focus. | ||

For me, the big problem was that the character archetypes got too played out. They retread the same jokes a bit too often for my taste. The vast majority of the cast are also assholes with the sole exception of Satou, but it's hard for him to carry the show when he's only a minor character. The romance was also largely uninteresting to me. | ||

Sure, some of the running jokes get a little stall into the later seasons but there's enough changes that kept it entertaining  | ||

I think it's over-rated in the same way that most anime movies are over-rated. But still, after watching it I still think I gave it an 8/10 overall which is a lot higher than the average rating I'd give to most shows. | ||
