 I'm holding off on reading the manga. Grimgar seemed boring at first but it's actually well-made and pretty fun. I'll keep watching if they speed up the pace. Couldn't get into Dimension W despite the interesting setting. | ||

Best Female Character 2015: Nakagawa Natsuki (Hibike! ufo) 2nd Best Female Characters 2015: Hiryute Tione & Hiryute Tiona (Danmachi) Anime of the Year 2015: Danmachi - Honestly 2015 wasn't phenomenal for very top tier anime. 2nd and 3rd place would probably be One Punch Man and Shokugeki no Souma; they were really good but I felt the premise or comedy got stale near the end. I enjoyed at least 30 new anime in 2015 but nothing really stood out. I pick Danmachi to be #1 because I'm a sucker for fantasy settings and Hestia is Bestia. Literally the only problem with Hestia is that she likes that Bell kid instead of me. For anime this season I'd stay: #1: Hai to Gensou no Grimgar - Hopefully this won't disappoint me! #2: Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! - Better than the LN #3: Musaigen no Phantom World - Mai's rack #4: Boku dake ga Inai Machi - Not really a fan of this type of mystery, it looks pretty though. #5: Gate S2 - haha... | ||

1. Kono Subarashii (too funny, any anime that makes me laugh so much is top tier in my eyes) 2. Boku Dake (it's higher quality, but the pretty grim plot it has is not that much of my type) 3. Dagashi Kashi (fairly stupid but pretty fun) 4. Dimension W (still rather interesting imo, but it better have some good episodes soon) 5. Schwarzesmarken (enjoying this way more than I thought) 6. Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (slow, but pretty fun still. last episode pushed its ranking up a bit) 7. Nijiiro Days (this one is just a short, but it's 24 episodes at least. fairly fun Shoujo / Slice of Life anime) 8. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu (sometimes bores me, but overall I like it) 9. Koukako no Pandora (it's stupid as hell, but it makes me smile and laugh often, which helps) 10. Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu (compared with Saekano I prefer the pacing, but the girls are worse imo) 11. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm (so-so sports anime, but I sort of like some of the girls so it's OK) 12. Prince of Stride: Alternative (another sports anime, I don't really enjoy it that much and might drop it) 13. Musaigen no Phantom World (rather boring lately, if the next one is bad I'll drop it) Dropped: Divine Gate, Bubuki Buranki and Ajin are dropped for me, the first two weren't enjoyable enough to watch and the later one is just hard to watch. The others I haven't tried but I don't think I'm missing good ones. Also I didn't include S2 animes, there's great ones too, like Shirayuki, Haikyuu, Assassination Classroom and Gate. Super good season imo, there should be something for everyone. | ||

All we learned is that they (the empire) are invading Tuskuru and Haku and his crew are going to aid them now (surprise!). I'd really like to know why they are invading Tuskuru too. At this point I'm easily cheering for Tuskuru to defend their invasion. | ||
