+ Show Spoiler +Not to say that Kircheis' death wasn't sad or ballsy or anything, but Yang Wenli was one of the two main characters. You had over 80 episodes in the anime, much of it following Yang, watching him deal with the struggles of his life while still holding onto his ideals, you are with him with his happy times and sad times, you watch him get married, you watch him raise Julian, etc. And then finally, after much struggle, Yang has pretty much achieved his objective, hes gonna go negotiate with Reinhard. The climax of Season 2 has been surpassed, and we are going to get their second meeting. But then.... 82 happens. I was never as emotionally invested in Kircheis as I was in Yang, and while Kircheis' death was definitely a shocker, killing off the main character after so much build up was way more shocking imo.
And then you feel even worse when you hear that about 1 year after Yang died, his voice actor died as well.

Since Halloween is coming up; what are the best/your favorite horror anime? Figured I might watch one since its the season and all. So far I haven't really watched any horror in anime and I am kind of curious to see what is out there. I would prefer stuff that isn't a gorefest but more psychological and subtle.

Doesn't really have to be that subtle. Though I dunno if there is anything like the horror I like. HP Lovecraft's works are probably my favorite horror stories.

Im like 9 episodes into shinsekai yori, it's pretty good. i'm liking it so far. i also recently finished tales of the abyss and canaan. tales was good, exactly what you get when you play a tales game. canaan was just ok i guess.
