I wouldn't quite say that, the only thing from season one that really never was explained would be Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, which they referenced to for Mystique Sign. Every thing else plain wasn't mentioned. This time they are simply airing everything in order, kinda boring for someone who read the novels and watched season one though.
