They kicked up on the comedy significantly with Clannad and Little Busters, Kanon is still closer to Air, unfortunately I still haven't heard of anything about LB being animated. On the other hand, the is Rewrite and that other one (gah I can't think it as anything else other than Haruhi ripoff character design), plenty of things to look forward to visual novel wise.

Was Clannad funny? I think I watched 1 or 2 eps and dropped it.

I loved it, but as you saw with the exchange between me and Tuna, my tastes might be skewed. The 4koma was excellent, and I can't wait till they start doing disappearance in haruhi-chan style.

School Days lol, that was some ending. I didn't watch it at all (though I know what has happened) and somehow got some friends to watch it without question. Lovely responses.

Didn't even know Haruhi-chan was a 4koma also. Just assumed they were trying to milk the franchise for money.

Got my friend to watch School Days too. I was like "Don't worry man, it gets so awesome", and the entire time he was watching he kept complaining how crap it was (he's not into that stuff either, and we share pretty similar tastes), but he appreciated the ending right after swearing at me haha.

Oh god why =[, I really tried to watch this but after the frst episode I couldn't, Eden of the East and FMA:B are FOR ME the best show's this season

Eden of the East is good (yet to catch up on it though

Yeah, Clannad tossed in way more comedic elements, watch on and see. It is closer to like 6:4 drama:comedy ratio. Little Buster might as well as have been 5:5 heh.

I don't know how Haruhi-chan got started (Churuya-san was doujin in origin, actually, excellent artist), but it probably was just another way to milk the franchise, albeit one that turned out to be excellent.

About the school days thing, I remember some very similar event happening with me and my friend, largely complaints about boredom for like the first 7 episode and streams of curses from then on. I need to toss more people Higurashi too, and Umineko when it airs, just to see reactions :p

EDIT - Ziph, no, don't link that, don't link that, I am going to have to rewatch and reread that portion of Clannad at this rate.

I still think it is a bit too vague, but the general consensus seems to be heading that direction, so I have no complaints.

I Dropped -Eden of the East- after 2 episodes I might pick it up again, I really loved the OP meh~. -Phantom- is really good tho starts becoming better and better I guess I also really like -Sengoku BASARA-

I think FMA Is way worse then the original although the ED is Reallly good.

I think its fine. I read the big 3 (and really enjoy OP), but each one either has too much trolling, or has been discussed to death everywhere else already.

As for Clannad, maybe I'll pick it up. Not really a fan of drama as you can see, but maybe I'll watch it for humor when I have time.

FMA:B is fine... I don't mind the comedic parts which breaks up the grimdark. I think its rushed, but it has to be since the first parts are exactly the same. I'm going to wait until more of it is out before really deciding if I want to drop it.

Anybody else watch Cross Game? I think it's the best anime of the season, first ep actually made me tear up slightly even though I've read the manga.
