The studio/author have talked about a movie for vol 9 but they ended up deciding against it apparently. It definitely seems like they're planning/hoping to make more.
And while vol 5 and 7 got fucked it seems like vol 6 is relatively back on track, so maybe it'll follow the LN more from now on. But yeah Bikou hasn't talked about switch princess and so on yet.
Last episode wasn't bad to be honest, it was pretty faithful to the novels outside of Irina/Rossweisse already being there. Diodora was the right amounts of smug and douche, i already hate him again.
Also if you're at vol 9 now did you read the side stories of vol 8 or atleast the one with the Satan Rangers? That's basically the only important side-story so far in regards to the story, and the best.
Also we haven't really seen bilingual in action, he just used it for Akeno's flashback seemingly without knowing what he did. So maybe we'll see it in proper action in 2-3 episodes during the rating game.

There will be more DxD cause TNK doesn't get a lot of projects and DxD is the only thing they have that sells. They flopped when they tried to animate another project like seirei tsukai no blade dance
Claire made me drop blade dance. I like tsunderes(except for the generic violent tsundere) normally but claire was just obnoxious. I think i lasted 2 or 3 episodes.

She is easily bottom tier girl in BD. I guess I like the genre enough to sit thru more episodes. Est (and Restia in LNs) pretty much hard carries in the series so I ended up finishing the LNs, then the animu.

They go to a recording studio in the start of 6 to answer questions, but Issei goes to record something on his own without the others knowing in the LN, but it seems the interviews/the studio part was cut due to the rating games being moved around. + Show Spoiler +

Ok so there's still hope for the Switch Princess but Sona's rating game is completely shafted. I though the Song recording was post switch but I guess not. Wonder if they just going to throw in the song without that. Did he at least use the switch in the anime ? :<
The song was written by Sirzechs and melody by Azazel or the other way around, afaik the song is a surprise to everyone but issei when it happens, but we'll definitely get the song, i mean we already had the song in the 'teaser' for this season:
well 'prince' is a title that still carries a lot of weight, also just because the capital is lost doesn't mean that all the other fortresses and army posts in the country have fallen, they're probably going to find nobles who didn't need to take part in the battle to ally with, since they probably have their own soldiers to spare.
I'm fine with them finding allies and gathering soldiers + mercenaries. That wouldn't be too far off from some things that happened in history!
Hopefuly, not magic / 1man army, and more strategy + outsmarting the opponents!
