An anime/manga slang term for a character that is cold, blunt, cynical, and pretty much doesn't care if her beloved dies. That's what she is on the outside but she is actually caring and nice on the inside. Highlight for "occasionally" rather than nonstop showing the caring side, which would be just plain dere.Differs from tsundere since tsundere is when the character frequently runs hot and cold between tsun and dere. Kuudere is when the character only occasionally shows her caring side. There seem to be two kind of definitions floating around. One, "cool" as in uncaring+dere at moments, and another one "cool" as in deadpan+dere at moments. But since it's about attitude towards someone due to the girls own emotion I'd say it's the first one and not the deadpan because the 1st one implies that it's done because it's him while the 2nd one could just be a character trait in general. Just like how tsundere are usually just tsun for the one they like and not just everyone. At least that's my take on the word. Thus yes, I wouldn't call her Kuudere anymore because despite still being deadpan, which just happens to be her thing, she is 100% dere all the time for what it's worth so far. It has only been one episode after all but it covered multiple days. I liked her being cold (in attitude) towards him whenever he did something or said something pervy and showing her dere side rarely inbetween, like when he saved her in s1 in the rating game... and her voice... but if that's gone that's indeed kind of ruining it for me But whatever, maybe she'll start kicking him and getting annoyed at him again later in the season, it only has been one episode. There's still hope | ||

It's more me being afraid that that'll happen than me jumping to conclusions. I said it's only been 1 episode (twice actually lol) for a reason and I just don't want her to be 100% dere :/ | ||
