BUT i've realized there's a ton of stuff from the VN's that i wouldn't have picked up in the animes (FSN and UBW, and Clannad)

Was the untranslated stuff portion new, I don't remember the list being so full of traps before.

I dunno how seriously to take the list when G-Sen and Hoshizora are down there in "Highly recommended", but Muv-Luv, Umineko, and Rewrite are no where to be found.

I enjoyed Hoshizora but yeah i would probably never put it in a highly recommended box.
It also seems a bit dated in some regards like putting S;G under obscure /jp/ shit.

I am not familiar with the majority of those. I tried to dl Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai because I enjoyed the setting and some of the characters in the anime but I couldn't get it to work.

There are a handful of choices in the common route then 1-2 choices in each route. It's not really a VN where choice is important. I like KS too, but that also isn't really something where there are a lot of choices. I'd say it's still on the lower medium part of the choice spectrum. If you want more romance and more choices you could read the Clannad VN I guess? I know there is an anime out but I must take this chance to once again tell the world that the VN is vastly superior.

Are they going to seriously kill everyone and only leave Tatsumi and Akame at the end? Chelsea, Lubbock and now Mine, not to mention Sheele and Bulat at the beginning. This is really maddening. That scene was so sweet as well, probably the sweetest in the anime by far and then she dies right after. I ... sigh :'(
On another note, how the hell are they going to beat Esdeath if Susanoo doesn't even rank compared to her? Can't believe it's ending in 3 more episodes ...
