+ Show Spoiler + So does that mean there are only 6 masters this war? If assassin is summoned by Caster then no one else could have, unless you can summon two of the same classes. Also what class is Gilgamesh(I watched the first season of Fate Zero)? | ||

I'll answer your question about two of the same class, but keep in mind this is legit spoiler material for Heavens Feel, the 3rd Route and upcoming movies: + Show Spoiler + Because Caster is a powerful magus who summoned Assassin, she counts as the 7th Master. When she summoned Assassin, her Assassin turned out to be an abberation, but still filled the slot for that class. In Heaven's Feel, the 3rd Route, Assassin is somehow killed, and Matou Zouken uses his corpse to summon 'True Assassin', who is the proper Assassin that should have been summoned, if Caster had not. And about Gil: + Show Spoiler + Gilgamesh was Archer in Fate/Zero. So while he would be the "8th Servant", he isn't really since he was summoned in the 4th War, not the 5th (the 5th being FSN). | ||

Once you hit like the first decision though they start coming pretty rapidly. (and i think you're actually getting close to the decisions too...iirc). However, each girls route is really long too....overall it's just an incredibly long VN. Takes many many hours to complete. Each route (maybe with an exception of Sakaki's) was such an amazing story and hit me on so many levels that it's left me completely blown away. On another note, I'm just about done with Sachi finally (I saved her for last b/c obviously Sachi besto girl). + Show Spoiler [Sachi Route] + I just finished the part where they blow up the school. I know there's a final decision coming, so I know it's not over yet... I've come to the conclusion that if the anime adaptation of GnK had just spent the money and time to be as faithful to the VN as possible, it would absolutely be AoTS for me and probably of the year to boot. But then again, that would require like 4-5 cours as far as I can tell, and also a willingness to "reset" the story so to speak after each route. (not sure if that would hinder the overall enjoyment of the anime or not...but the stories, are just so fucking good). At least it would have been able to get rid of the parts that I find stupid and annoying + Show Spoiler + specifically the misplaced sex scenes like Michiru's route where you go through such an emotional down and up and all of a sudden they're banging, and Sachi route right after the school blows up and this whole intensely sad and then joyful scene and all of a sudden they're banging. It actually is kind of pissing me off. I understand it's an "adult" game and sex sells and all that, but these stories are so good they would sell easily without any of that stuff and it doesn't really make the experience any better. | ||

kinda werided out about amane or red hair girl showing her boobs straight off the bat in grisaia cause i was like O_O what am i on her route now? wtf? i didnt even do anything but i think it turns out that theres a HUGE amount of story prep for each of the characters before you pick. I orginall was going for haruka[kata] saw her was like shes nice she likes books i like books what could go wrong, and i was like u know i should probably run to stay in shape for her and boom im in the emi route ROFL | ||

There are a handful of choices in the common route then 1-2 choices in each route. It's not really a VN where choice is important. I like KS too, but that also isn't really something where there are a lot of choices. I'd say it's still on the lower medium part of the choice spectrum. If you want more romance and more choices you could read the Clannad VN I guess? I know there is an anime out but I must take this chance to once again tell the world that the VN is vastly superior. | ||

I gotta admit i agree with assassin here, Saber is really cool while fighting. I find caster hotter though. I prefer dangerous women who rely on trickery and does not have honor than a dangerous woman who values honor/pride and other matters. Good fight scene's. What an enjoyable episode but sadly no Rin Tohsaka scene's P.S. Btw another powerlevel question . How does archer fare in combat vs f/z archer (gilgamesh) ? with/without Ea and UBW respectively ? Standard FSN Episode | ||

I felt the same way when I read my 1st LN (FSN) and they were definitely the worst part of the game and most of them detracted from the experience for their low as hell quality in writing (seriously every time one came up I thought to myself "Has this author actually ever had sex?") or just not being necessary (some of them were fine and added to the story in some way but others added 0 value imo). | ||
