Pretty far behind on Legend of Korra and a few other things so I was mostly just watching the stuff that's supposed to be A+++ this season like Fate. I'll probably give some of these that are supposedly a lot better than they sound a shot once I can go through like 3 episodes in a sitting I guess.

Ok question, if I watch the new Fate/stay do i need to watch anything else or can i get the jist from the new series?

At first, I thought it would be a typical Princess anime, happy etc. :O World Trigger : Interesting first episode. Hopefully, the characters at Border are not unkillable. This season is looking GOOD so far Very good (IMO) : FSN UBW : Enjoyed FZ. Not so much FSN + UBW movie, hopefully this anime will be great. Cross Ange : That first episode got me! Good Log Horizon 2 (Only because of the first episode, I'm sure it will go up) Terra Formar (If it weren't for the constant censorship, this anime could be higher : I enjoy the atmosphere, the universe) World Trigger : So far so good. Kuma's faces are funny at times. MC looks weak Awaiting first episode : PP 2 From Summer : Akamage ga Kill SAO 2 (Btw, this episode... so much talking) Argevollen : Neeed to catch up ; haven't watched the last few episodes. What other anime caught your attention? What else is worth a try? I think I can afford 2-3 more series before being saturated Denki-gai no Honya-san if you want over the top don't take itself serious anime. Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete if you want a mystery anime (so it seems). First episode was quite bizzare. Grisaia no Kajitsu: haven't watched it yet, sounds interesting though. G-Reko: gundam, unique art style (feels that way to me), give it a try if you like mech. Other than that, we're watching the same exact shows haha. ps Didn't see the ending of Cross Ange, + Show Spoiler +at least not the treatment part either.
As always, we share similar tastes!

Yes you can likely jump right in. This series is following one of 3 routes for the Fate/Stay Night VN. If you end up liking the series you can dl and play an english patched version (or you can watch the older F/SN anime if you want but it isn't good).
Fate/Zero is a prequel so you can watch that after going through FSN.
Just watched Gugure! Kokkuri-san. Its kinda odd but has its moments. Kinda typical opposites meet/clash with a girl who lives alone and seemingly is lacking in the emotion department with the kind of stupid/eccentric/friendly fox spirit. It was slightly above average overall, some of the type of jokes/situations aren't exactly new but they are done well and the girl is cute enough.
DENKI-GAI was ok as well, a solid 1st episode.

i would recommend that u watch in this order, F/Z > FSN season 1 > UBW. The episode 0 of UBW didnt explain much about the war IMO and its purposes, U can skip FSN and watch UBW if u want, i dont think u will lose any critical info if u do that.

Even if F/Z is meant to be capable of being a standalone, I would never recommend it prior to FSN. Especially now that the original shit deen adaptation isn't the only option other than reading.

The war and all that will be explained when Rin and Kirei explain shit to Shirou.

Why in the world would your recommend they do it out of order? Fate/Stay Night was written years and years before Fate/Zero was even a thing. And FSN explains everything you need to know to understand the setting and story. Watching Fate/Zero before watching/reading FSN is like watching Star Wars Episode 1-3 before the original trilogy. You don't do something like that, because writing doesn't work that way.

I tried to download the english patched version of FSN [Realta Nua]. Unfortunately I suck and every time I tried to open the application it beeped at me and threw Japanese letters or ascii at my face so I gave up.
Only watched 5-10 minutes of Kokkuri but thought it was decently funny.

Last time I downloaded FSN, I didn't even need to do an install or anything. Just extracted and started reading.

Sora no Method ep 1 was pretty awful. Shit drama is shit.
UBW ep 0 had a lot of random stuff. I kinda feel like they could've cut a lot of the school bits, but I guess it's a decent intro. + Show Spoiler [VN spoilers(?)] +The heck was with the meeting between Sakura and Gil?
I guess Grisasia is gonna do omnibus or something? They're hinting at way too much for me to believe otherwise. At least the animation is better than I expected.

Sweet thanks. It looked like it was one of the better this season. Seen the Gundam also, the pacing was weird.

I really think FSN should be watched before F/Z . Helps clear the confusion out since sometimes F/Z doesn't explain everything. And it indirectly adds the charm of F/Z when you watch it.

What is this why is tohsaka blushing, pouting, puffing and all other emotions. Sure she is the poster tsundere but i like the version of her being cool and collected(previous fsn).
Wow that fight was splendid .. this surely did not disappoint
Until the retard arrived T.T why does he have to arrive in the show
Looks fucking good. I'll just hope i can endure watching shiroe the entire series and enjoy this. When you first said this on irc I actually found it weird because I thought Rin had plenty of tsundere moments in the old anime too.
I don't remember too much .I probably didn't notice all my focus was on hating shiro :D

I don't remember having to install anything either(and I read FSN a few months ago), in fact it automatically had Real nua minus the dragons and dolphins.

Aw why must all new anime episodes come out in the same 1-2 days. I was just away for the weekend and suddenly there are like 10 new animes to watch and just not enough time to catch up.
Anyway,
- SAO2 + Show Spoiler [ep14] +
A bit disappointing tbh. As many has pointed out, how Kirito even lost that fight having more physical training and started with an advantage by kneeing him in the face, then "dying" afterwards. It feels a bit forceful to have Asada save him. And the meeting with the one she saved feel a bit cliche, although I cant think of anything better either ^^
Also, regarding the introduction of Asuna I have read a few page back, not sure if I am being easy here, but I see no problem with that. He was introducing his friendS, saying "these are my friends from SAO", including Lizbeth first, so he may just go with the flow of introduction and not mentioning Asuna as an extra-special friends. But then Agil got left out, so whatever. Probably just a girl's thing
- UBW: haven't started actually. I am kinda interested to read through the VN and/or marathon through the previous F/SN and F/Z series, but don't have time for now. Also as most has mentioned above that it's actually ok to just jump straight into this without having watched previous F/SN and F/Z, I guess I will give it a try. Hopefully I can understand stuff.
- On still to watch list: Denki-Gai, Log Horizon 2, Grisaia, Gugure! Kokkuri-san, Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji, Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete and World Trigger. May be Cross Ange (not sure), and Wixoss (providing I manage to finish season1)
Anything good that I am missing on the list? Will probably end up dropping quite a number and just watch 3-4 good ones

Mitcher Mitcher That UBW VN spoiler is copy pasted from the VN, so I don't get the confusion. The entire episode was basically the VN prologue animated, really.
Grisaia seems to want to be all serious from the start. I hope they don't cut too many comedy skits. Please Juicy Yuuji.
