funnily enough someone else pm'ed me and I answered him in a little more detail:
As for stuff that actually still works: You can download every episode via irc. So if you got an IRC client you hop on #horriblesubs@irc.rizon.net (channel #horriblesubs, server being rizon) or whatever your fansubbing group of choice is and download them via XDCC which actually is the savest way to download stuff if you're afraid of the illegal nature of it all.
You should get an explanation message when joining the channel and it most likely will be some kind of 2 step-procedure along the lines of: 1) whisper a command to a bot in the channel to get a list of the files available 1.5) pick the show you're looking for 2) whisper a command to download that specific file to the same bot in the channel 2.5) Save the file somewhere
Honestly though, if you haven't used irc before don't bother with that and just use streaming sites for the day. It's not complicated but no need to stress out over it
I have never tried out HS irc though, I'm just speaking out of experience with other channels but it's probably something like that if you really need to get an episode today for whatever reason.

ya, HS had an explanation about mirc and what to write but I scanned it and didn't bother with it. Having said that, I'm sure I can figure my way around it lol. Thanks for the info!
I'm just getting into Hunter X Hunter. Finished the first season and its been amazing. Does it go down hill like most long animes do? Heres to hoping it doesn't.
HxH maintains great quality throughout. Ant arc was great & was excellent at creating tension. + Show Spoiler +
Pouf became pretty annoying though
It's all good right up until election arc. Which in itself isn't that awful since it's more building a new arc, but it isn't really great for viewing & will make boring episodes.
Point being you'll still have like 140 episodes of consistently good quality starting from episode 1.

Might also be that he fist watched the old HxH, instead of right away watching HxH 2010 (or whatever year it started). I didn't watch the old one but I think to remember that I've read that it was mostly the same but had some kinda ending which doesn't fit with how the manga went or something.
Mmm personally I would recommend watching the original anime up until Greed Island, then pick up the new season once the Greed Island arc starts. Would be kinda funky since voice actors change (and some characters' hair color) buuut the original anime was just so good.

tnx guys, i wasnt trying to remember something, just trying to get a new suggestion. and this looks good to try :D i ended up playing HS all fucking night instead tho. its pretty addictive once you get decent at it and can just keep going
obviously she won't die the creators don't have the balls to pull that off .. but if possibility wise if ever she dies .. the activation of aldnoah could fall under the necklace thingy and the assassin could pretend as hime with the transformation under the necklace for the rest of the show .. and the angle would be guilty conscience
but this will require exposition that the only Hime-sama family can activate aldoah becoming a lie and you just need the necklace thingy or another object to activate shit with it
that's just my theory crafting though
anyways ... good episode as usual has some questionable scene's and events but it's still ok
