I kind of enjoy the idea of an alternate universe, and they made it surprisingly well. The first season was pretty cool. This second season is questionable though. We'll see where it goes | ||

We'll see where it goes Well you have to admit that even without knowing the source you have to realize they messed up the anime in some aspects as well. It seemed to me at the time like they were mashing up and trying to cover a lot of stuff by throwing in random elements here and there (and at the time I didn't know it came from a VN source but could still tell they were cramming in a larger amount of content in). That hurt it a fair amount, plus you know Shirou is a stupid shit who spouts off corney self righteous lines (but he does that in the source anyway :D ) | ||
