Am still watching JoJo and keeping up with Hunter X Hunter, and started season 2 of Mushihi last night, also am watching Aldnoah Zero (is it made by the same studio as Attack on Titan? Music and direction are pretty similar), and have just recently watched Ping Pong the animation (amazing). Is Tokyo Ghoul any good? Any decent sports anime? Anything similar to anything I listed above? Barakamon is a must watch -- uplifting and funny, can be enjoyed by anyone Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun for comedy AOTS Zankyou no Terror is pretty much the most well received show of the season Akame ga Kill is incredibly entertaining and action-y, you'd probably like it. I'm enjoying Tokyo Ghoul too -- the narrative is great I think, but a lot of people are bothered by the censoring and chapter skipping Watch Magi. Imo this series gets progressively better the further it goes in. Starts off a bit weak / not dark enough or directed well enough to make you care at first but it improves. Also, it's holy shit levels of eye candy. It's like all the vibrant colours had an orgasm on your screen. Rifled through the Manga after I was finished watching. Think it's the best manga I have read. Well, not including Berserk or maybe HxH. Though the author of Berserk probably has no fucking idea where he wants to take his story anyway. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic then Magi: The Kingdom of Magic Also I don't really rate a lot of the seasons half baked shows as anything worth watching. As they aren't really engaging nor do you care what happens to the characters that much. Say HxH / Magi / FMA all range from 10-8 on a 1-10 scale. These shows are closer to 1-8 depending on how harsh you are. 6 - Akame ga kill isn't great by any means. Maybe the manga is better because it's an interesting premise but executed very poorly. Was going to give it a 5 but figure I'd bump it up a point just for the last episode. 6-7.5 - Tokyo Ghoul started out fairly bad and the only time I cared about the characters was in the last episode at the end. And those weren't even the main chars. + Show Spoiler + mom&daughter ![]() 7-8.5 Nozaki - Isn't bad and gets better but if it's comedy I'd prefer Minami-ke Tadaima or something better. Giving it this random range because if the eps keep getting better it'll a solid recommendation. Enjoyed it thus far though. 7 SAbegtugasdfjp\lkjjkutg - Sometimes funny, worth it to pass time. Kind of hit and miss but had some genuinely funny moments. 8? Barakamon - Simple relaxing.. sometimes funny, other times not really at all. A little over rated. Haven't watched anything else this season so can't say for the rest.

On the other hand, Hanakana Kougyoku is the greatest of all time. Probably worth watching just for her.

It was so clichéd. Seriously considering to dropping it. People complain about Tokyo Ghoul not being as good as the manga, and while I agree it has some pacing issues, as someone who hasn't read the manga I think it is quite enjoyable. The censoring is shit and I am curious how stuff will look on the disk version, where it is supposedly shown uncensored.

Anime isn't too bad. It does feel a bit confusing at times but most of the characters are likable and whatever fights we have though can be brief are fun to watch. If you want more mech, there's Argevollen currently airing. Harem would be Rokujouma no Shinryakusha. Also, yes! yes to Magi! As mentioned, lots of vibrant colors and the story grabs you as well. Has some pretty good fights too.

+ Show Spoiler + maybe im just naive but i really liked the fight in the last episode. i was constantly wondering ... are they going to kill one of the "main" characters or are they going to kill the "bad" girl that i expected to join night raid in the end. so i enjoyed it very much. tokyo ghoul + Show Spoiler + still going strong for me ... started to read the manga, since everyone semi-trashed the show when comparing it to the manga. nozaki-kun + Show Spoiler + started watching it this weekend and caught up to the latest episode. its an ok show ... dont quite understand the hype around it. the only time it made me genuinly laugh was when they played the dating-sim .. shit was hillarious. otherwise i will keep watching but dont know for how long. sabagebu! + Show Spoiler + series gets less and less interesting ... the jokes just dont have the same punch behind it like in the first 3 episodes. dont know how long until i drop it. aldnoah + Show Spoiler + still enjoying it a ton ... will keep watching. tokyo esp + Show Spoiler + FINALLY they are kinda back in the action of the first episode. enjoyed the episode. started watching madoka magica in between. dont know what to expect from it. the word "deconstruction" is thrown around it a lot. but since its only 12 episodes, will probably finish it by end of this week.

+ Show Spoiler + I was spoilered from this thread that Sheele was going to die but I didn't know when, thank goodness it was earlier than later, not sure if I wanted to deal with seeing more of her. Just annoying. On the other hand, holy wtf how is Annie (forgot her real name, and my friend spent the entire episode calling her and her bear Annie and Tibbers, lol) not dead? She lost both arms and ran around bleeding gallons of blood, this show man. Bright side is the beginning of the episode had lots of Leone beating people up. :3
