Finished Nisemonogatari. It was good, i like the sisters. Their the main reason I watched this one after Bake b/c i wanted to see them more. I feel there's an obligatory dat toothbrush scene though. lol. I was a little upset they decided to spend like a whole half episode on that instead of more of the phoenix story. It feels like half of Tsukihi's story has nothing to do with her. Anyways that's like the one thing that i wasn't happy with really...otherwise great anime.

Well, there are a few reasons. First of all, Monogatari s1 followed a pretty simple formula. Introduce girl, do her arc, next arc primary banter is the girl introduced while primary plot is new girl. Rinse and repeat. This puts the Tsukihi banter at neko kuro...which got shafted, oops.

Also, an ongoing theme from nise and to current vols is that the fire sisters are never going to be directly involved, and if they are, they are clueless about it. Araragi makes sure to keep things that way, this is addressed in the talk he had with Hachikuji in...iirc nise vol1. So no, unless Araragi messes up somewhere, those two will never really take a part in their own stories. This is particularly true of Tsukihi.

This is probably not very impressive to most of you, but I really dig the fact that ZnT is doing its best to accurately reference existing technology. Smartphones that are clearly Androids/iPhones, modern OSes on the PCs... but this episode, they went the extra mile by using Tor as a plot point (an explanation as to why the video upload was untraceable by IP). It's not perfectly accurate, but I just dig these kinds of references.

I don't really see what was wrong with the Build Knuckle. Saying it was over used is like saying Exia over used swords, or the original Gundam overused its beam rifle. Or probably the best example, saying the God Gundam over used God Finger. So basically, why is using its finishing move to finish off things bad? GBF is probably most similar to G Gundam as it is, and I don't ever hear that complaint about G.

G Gundam has the benefit of manly men. Imagine if Domon was replaced with Shinji. An extreme example to be sure, but the point is that you can get away with a lot of things through sheer force of character.

Going with the God Gundam this time is a really good decision if they want a melee suit. But then again, watch its finishing move be the Build Sekiha Tenkyoken, and then people start complaining about it shooting fireballs rather than punching stuff.

That 1st pic is really cool Sent. Burning Gundam reminded me of the Shining Gundam from G Gundam. While G Gundam had a lot of cheesy shit in it is there any other Gundams or mechas centered around a similar premise of a fighting competition using mechas? (a good one).

First picture was by Masami Obari, and thankfully hes going to be working on GBF 2 as well!

Also, thats a pretty good question... I'm sure there are, but for the life of me, none are coming to mind right away.
