It's one of the reasons why i dislike SAO so much. But to be fair it did well in the romance department. No?

like Glass Slip not dropping yet .. wanna find out how this goes a couple more episodes .. seems mediocre for now the good thing is that it has action and the shows seems somehow enjoyable .. bad thing is that it has type of fanservice that i hate.. and that rapping in the end + Show Spoiler + If ever they are gonna ship a couple in this show. I hope it's not gonna be the pinkhead and the MC but rather the redhead tsundere and MC . pinkhead is a just a boring moeblob.

I really like how everything is very cryptic though..it's interesting. BUT one thing i really hate that anime's sometimes do is flash a whole bunch of text for half a second or less and i only read like half of it...It's something that really bothers me, and I end up having to go back and pause to read it, even if it's completely meaningless. And Bake seems to do that a lot. Oh well, I'll get over it, i'm interested enough in this to keep going and see where it leads. You learn to get used to pausing really quick or you just ignore it.

Lol you are gonna meet a lot of them .. as long as you are not streaming i don't think it would be a problem.. just be more patient and go pause and play a lot .. don't worry you will be rewarded well .. bakemonogatari is a decent show It's unusual but surely decent enough to be interesting. and bigfan clone is already watching bakemonogatari while the original bigfan still hasn't watched it -_-

![]() Mahouka: + Show Spoiler + so excited for the next episode just to see the work of Shiba with his classmates against Third High. It's nice that we got some background info and the "rupture" spell among other things seems like one hell of an OP one. Wonder just what kind of game monolith code is and how Shiba will work with his classmates to actually beat them because you know, if he doesn't win, it'll be weird lol. Episode today was ok otherwise. His identify as Silver is finally getting recognized, at least by one of the council members. Wonder if she'll ask him eventually or keep the find to herself.

Yea there is a lot of stuff that you won't know until it gets brought up later on. Hell one of my favorite characters appears but doesn't have any lines in Bake. I ended up reading the light novel online for the story just before bake because that is really where it all began (it's called Kizumonogatri if your interested in reading it after and they keep teasing us with them making a movie but who knows when it will come out).

Good question, dunno fully. I actually did Eva in ~ 15 hours lol but ya, the anime had some good mech fights and I grew to like the story though the whiny MC was a bit annoying. Terra E had a lot of good fights and an intriguing story with the whole 'we need computers to maintain control of human desires'. It also showed the development of the different characters over many years (grew up, married, kids even death and more future generations) which I haven't seen much of in the animes I've watched so far and different conflicts due to generational differences. I guess that stuff just appealed to me due to the nature of the show and our current world (skynet anyone? lol). Bake, well, so we have an arc focusing on a girl who lost weight because she was affected by some crab and needs to recover so she visits some guy who helps her then we move onto another arc with another character but retain all characters (I presume). Based on this 'short' summary, I guess I just wasn't a fan of having specific arcs dedicated to specific characters since it feels like there's a disconnect. At the same time, I didn't like the heavy emphasis on constantly pausing to read and such. I've paused in previous anime before but Bake was on a different level lol. Not sure if that explains it well but usually I end up watching whatever sounds interesting and Bake's general story isn't the most appealing in comparison to the aforementioned ones.

But you watched Clannad and Clannad After Story. Bam denounced BigFan. I don't think pausing to read the text is heavily needed, it just adds extra flare into whats happening. I realize that other anime that I've watched in the past like Clannad had arcs for different characters but I guess the nature of those anime still managed to hold my interest more than Bake does atm. Not sure if that explains it well enough but ya, I watch whatever sounds interesting and Bake's general story isn't the most appealing in comparison to the aforementioned ones. Edit: As for the pausing, I like to get the whole story and feel that for Bake, I should pause to read everything. I can always try without but it destroys the experience.
