And how does slaugther casually stroll through endless 8 and say its ok!? Honestly unless you are "bigfan " or a big fan like me or masochist like znf.. If you are Just a casual viewer then i don't recommend going through endless 8 fully just watch ep 1,4,8 of it.. Thats all you need to watch and dont do what MJ did and just read wiki @MJ : looking for manga recs? try Good Ending. . Many things happen in the show and it happens quite early and the show actually ends.. My other recommendation would be orange marmalade. . Its manwha but i think you dont mind it gets quite interesting later. . And my personal recommedation would would be Last Game. . Just manage to get through episode 3 and it gets really fun. . Its my favorite manga currently of. . Of course in the roamnce department only. . The show is really cute and sweet.. And I didn't enjoy Hyouka because it was average on like...all fronts. Literally nothing of any entertaining quality happens. I was definitely not curious about anything in this show. | ||

Last Game feels like it is heading into the do nothing but maintain status quo trap that every shoujo invariably goes through. Nothing to really make you want to put up with it either. The same antics can only work for so long. Basically need cute Miyukichi twins imoimoimo. I gotta say that Kenshin was definitely a mixed bag, especially compared to my memories of it. I remember watching Kenshin years ago, and overall thinking it was pretty solid. Thats only half true, now. The first... I dunno, 30 episodes or something, were all soooo dull. There was like maybe 3 or 4 good episodes in that 30 episode stretch. The rest was stupid filler, or Kenshin just taking a huge dump on everyone. But then all the sudden, Saito shows up, fucks up Sanosuke, and the quality of the anime skyrockets. Saito Hajime single-handedly turned Kenshin from boring to really good. What a god. And it kept up the quality, with various ups and downs, up to the end of the Kyoto arc. I guess I'll rewatch Trust and Betrayal next. I remember that OVA being excellent, and then I'll be done with Kenshin animes. Might read the last parts of the manga afterwards, IDK. | ||

Ecael: Your just too cynical overall Bigfan: I don't know how you can wait. Generally if I watch an anime that I like I go out and read the source stuff right away (especially in cases like Nisekoi where you have too to find out whats next). I couldn't wait the months/years in between seasons (if there is one). Aslo Bigfan, since you finished Sidonia what did you think of the little teaser at the end of episode 12? :D Edit: Speaking of Nisekoi, a new chapter today! + Show Spoiler + Omg Tachibana so cute this chapter. I love the way the author draws all her outrageous expressions. | ||

BigFan, let me thank you for that! First off, I wouldn't label it as mecha, I feel its more science fiction than mecha. Like the mecha was just a means to the story and not the main focus at all. Even with the crappy animation of the people, the rest of the animation was better (like the fighting and general scenery and stuff). A couple of the characters were amazing (as in development and persona's) but the rest were not very good...That doesn't really matter though b/c all the main characters were the good ones. The story is somewhat brilliant...Amazing sci-fi themes, and they tell you just enough so your imagination can come up with whats going on (even if you're probably horribly wrong) while still leaving so many questions to be answered, forcing you to constantly come back for more. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable show, Glad I watched it, Will watch next season, Will probably watch this season again sometime. | ||

Yeah i was just recommending GE because something actually happened. . Idk if MJ may possibly like it. Given that he enjoyed some stuff that most did not.. I hope you are wrong eca. . I am really enjoying lasr game one of the few shoujo that i actually enjoy.. i agree eca i am actually one of those people who enjoy stuff not happening on some shows.. But oc course i precer the mix of both between development and MC getting being prevented by side char like in kawai. . The best example of this kind of show would be Maison Ikkoku. Old anime but good stuff. My bad some people actually considered what happened to kawai as actually nothing happening that i was just riding on that. Lol @znf : really?
